Frankly, hes just been totally out thought and outcoached by his lap dog from last season. And i bet Corey is seething about that most of all

It was a scrappy game which never really flowed, apart from Jade's goal everything was messy and just a little slack. Bruce knew exactly how to play us..bide your time as you will get chances as we cant defend for toffee...fair play they are a good team.
The chants for BRUCCEEE were embarrassing at the end...yes clap him off but to act like he still plays for us...eugh...god knows what our players must of thought!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that it was Rovnianek who brought it over here a number of seasons ago? He started it at the NIC but it's a Europe wide thing a lot of teams do it post match..so Hirsch doing it doesnt surpise me either.

The save was mint, i was sat right behind it at the bottom of block 10 ;D If you sat looking across the goal line, you might have seen the puck dragged back from behind the line. I was sat looking across the goal line..it never crossed the line

We won that game in the first period then took out foot off the gas slightly in the 2nd and 1st...Blaze also started to wake up a bit at 6-1 down and were pretty decent in the 3rd. 1st period Blaze were shocking....they seemed as nervous as Murdy did in goal!
Macdonalds hat trick goal was a beauty his speed away from the last man was scary and his finish wasnt bad either! Im sure his first goal was already in but he put in the rebound but hey ho.
K-Walls save with the puck looping over his head was fantastic i really thought it would sneak over the line but no he kept it out!
Final thing...i dont think i've ever seen so few Coventry fans at the NIC before!

Let's be honest, at least we don't play steps before the players come on to the ice. If I was a blaze fan I would be embarrassed. I think a good compromise for a goal song would be blur followed by baha men rather than dagger. Steps? They dont play Steps...it's Special D-Come With Me

I'd love to know where the idea for who let the dogs out came from. It's been used a lot at recent play off weekends...i remember when we used to play the original song was played just before the team came out in the first year of the arena...now that was odd.

Oh and the atmosphere is nowhere near up to the standard of last week, bring back the old announcer and offer him more than what he is on now elsewhere The music went back to the old dull slow paced stuff again which killed the atmosphere a bit...the music seemed to be turned down compared to last week as well.

What was said out of interest? I was sat in block four and there was nothing interms of banter or anything else between our fans and there fans. As for the game; my first game of the season and was relatively pleased, despite the team not being at the races for the start of the second period and the woeful discipline. Cardiff should of buried us with the amount of time spent on the PP. Some guy in a blaze shirt was going ballastic at the panthers fans for "not knowing what they are watching", cue a comment from "a drunken idiot trying to act hard in front of his drunken mates" panthers fan of "did I really just hear that right.... a Coventry fan telling another set of fans THEY dont know what they are watching"??! There was also some banter with a couple of devils which ended in everyone laughing and everyone shaking hands and wishing each other luck for the season. Nothing aimed at devils fans whatsoever that I saw, and apparently the THF uproar is about an incident I was sat very near so I wouldnt worry too much! Everything has been said, but Carson always looks to penalise the tough/bigger/rougher guys. He didnt take his eyes off Sawyer throughout, likewise Penner. Good to see Stevie Lee not taking any crap again Some of the comments on the THF did make me smile i must admit lol

Well we got here eventually but we did it the hard way! At 3-1 down i never felt we would lose as we have so much offensive firepower it just needed one goal and like usual Lyle will let in 2 or 3 quickly.
Clarke's gwg was a bullet i doubt Lyle ever saw it as it was hit with so much power it was unreal.
Carson did call a lot of penalties against us tonight but a lot of them were our own fault due to ill discipline right in front of him.

For me it's not the pricing, the time slot or being in the Olympic rink...but just the standard of ENL hockey that makes me not want to go...i've been to a few games in the past but got bored to be honest.

He's not wrong. I'm not massively into dance but tiesto putson a good show. His version of adagio for strings... William Orbit's version is better IMO. Agreed..Tiesto's version isnt that great The music was much better on saturday but that was just due to Bavy being the DJ...take note Panthers...UPBEAT music

if anything, dance music should be left in Ibiza/Magaluf/*insert boozy foreign land here* Dance music may have it's home in Ibiza nowadays but all the music comes from the UK,Holland and Germany...it's not all chavified....only the stuff you hear on the radio is or at mainstream clubs...but anyway thats for a different debate lol

Just wanted to save people trawling through the internet, or having to sit through 'East numpties today' like i did. All for 30 seconds of nothingness. They showed nothing, the best bit was when Jade said 'hello mum!' (it was funny because even though he said it, she probably wasn't even watching LMFAO!) It made me cry a little self loathing tear of despair, So i went for an Eartha Kitt to cheer myself up. I thought it was pretty decent, there isnt much you can show from a training session really...was good how they mentioned how we get the biggest crowds in the country and that our season ticket sales were up.

I just wish they would play a current range of music..i dont mean chart songs but current rock/indie/dance tracks just to get the place a bit more pumped....Coventry being the perfect example of this.

Yeah a fair few of them are not happy about this as they wanted Cardiff to build the rink themselves rather than PI

*Stupid question from hockey newb alert* Do Panthers always start the 1st period playing right to left or does this change game to game? They shoot towards the stage end once a game always in the 2nd period always shooting towards block 10 twice

Compared to 1 live game last season and nothing for many seasons before that 8 is a fantastic coup, small steps is the only way the Elite League will grow.
