My favourite celebration I have seen was the Rasto 'grenade' celebration. Original. That was fantastic ;D, there is a great video on youtube of that with some i think Panther newbies filming it...the reactions from them are priceless

I have to admit I enjoyed the "Ghoul" screen when we scored a goal. Childish as hell but a very good use of the board. Another note: If were gonna use this announcer can we please read the players names out? Why, we know who they are, their faces and numbers appear on the screen. They take too long to come onto the ice in the first place, without having to wait for them to come out when the names are read. It was announced that ALL games will start at the appointed time, so why drag it out any longer. The intro was a bit dull though because the players weren't announced...didnt really get the crowd into it...i do think they should make the players names go across the screen much slower and while the players are coming onto the ice not before.

Final point - I have never heard a hockey crowd so quiet as the panthers fans tonight. Unbelievable. Yeah it was very subdued tonight i thought...it has been for the last 3 or 4 games to be fair...against Stars and Caps it was a non event just a training sessions hence no noise and v Steelers we were terrible so again no noise but tonight it was pretty apparent who was going to win after 2-0...it was a case of how many not would Vipers get back into it. With no disrespect intended Newcastle arent a big draw anymore...most of our fans expect us to thrash you lot these days which may have something to do with a rubbish atmopshere as it wasnt really much of a contest (aside from the first period). 3.909 also our lowest crowd of the season.

Sweets

The sweets at the end of the game really bug me, I think the players should take a stance and just leave them on the ice. It really hacked me off when the announcer asked for the fans not to throw sweets on to the ice and they still did. Bloody morons. It was even in the programme last week with GM and Meyers asking people to stop throwing sweets on the ice.

Im sure he must have a knock so it's better to rest him for a cup game than for the more important league games. A knock? He could barely stand up! Just a stubbed toe or something ...it's the Panthers website's favourite injury...'a knock'

The whole team looked slow, tired and just not with it at all....by the third they were dead on their feet...Jade took a knock and seemed to be in pain for the most of the game and Ryan also looked a bit injured as well.
Steelers just defended well and picked us off really, they had a few PPs and were pretty leathal..we had loads and were awful.
On a side note i dont think i've ever seen so few Steelers fans...200-300 max?

Hull were a much improved side on previous visits to the Hull arena...Panthers had to work for everything tonight Stingrays were niggling away at everything we did, their goalie is very good as well made some blinding saves at times.
Ryans goal was a beauty took it from our goal line past 3 Hull players and ripped it in the top corner just inside the Hull blueline..boom. Jade's goal was a good hit as well.
Good crowd as well and good atmosphere...i've never seen the pre game queue that big before a Hull game before.

London Racers had a terrible first season only winning 3 games all season...they're first not until Feb i think..then the second season they were a decent team...it would be unfair to judge totally on one season for them.

Easy win, felt like a training match at times as Dundee were just terrible to be honest...we were far superior in every department and just won without breaking too much sweat.
Bellamy was RAPID and looked a very very good player, Nikolov looked very solid and again a good player, two excellent signings methinks.

Must say that Brendan Cook's goal was top notch, the guy just walzed through us. The new guy looks good to. LOL. You mean his ONE move worked. The amount of times hes skated in the box of 4 guys to carry the puck into the slot and thrown it on net, to no avail, more than outweighs the one in 25 times it gives an end product It may be his one move but it was still a good goal lol

If you sit on the seats starting 1 in 13 you get no net really...i sit in the middle on G and the net doesnt really bother me to be honest.

Carson = Steelers enforcer. on a level playing field, they are certainly beatable. I hope our team remember this for a long time and corey shows them the video right before the next meeting. Oh come off it....Corey should be showing them the video and telling them to keep their mouths shut first

I think blaming Carson is glossing over our own poor performance. Whether you accuse him of being biased or not, we were giving powerplay chances by him and we failed to make any use of them. At one point we had a 4 minute powerplay and I don't think we had a single decent chance on goal! Our problem to me seemed to be that we were trying to play tippy-tappy perfect hockey and, because the Steelers didn't give us the time and space to do it, we couldn't pull off. We just don't seem to be able to play less "glamourous" hockey when we need to. Regardless of what Carson did or didn't call, some of our players should be embarressed for their reactions tonight. Penner in inparticular can expect a hefty ban for throwing his stick at their bench and fully deserves it. Totally agree

Penner got thrown out cause he's a f***in idiot. He's not an enforcer!!!!! Guys like Angelstad who KNEW what the enforcer role is would never do that. Expect a suspension!!!! what game were you watching Penner is perfectly fine Carson deserved water being thrown at him, if i was Penner i would of done alot more than that it is not fine to go mental throw your stick and get dragged off the ice by your own team mates

Panthers also were shocking on the PP and missed so many chances it was unreal...it wasnt all Carson's fault...we had so many PPs but did NOTHING with them...that is whats more worrying.

We cant afford to lose our players to ridiculous abuse of official calls....no matter how much they feel hard done by they have to keep their heads or if they dont we will lose, simple...i bet the Steelers bench were having a laugh a minute as Penner went nuts

The Lepine hit was from where i saw a fairly clean hit,Carson only called it after his lino spoke to him and he saw the blood...this obviously annoyed a lot of our players who couldnt keep they're heads...men down already and taking stupid abuse of official penalties...whether Carson deserved it or not they need to keep their heads!

Can i ask what happened for Richardson to get 10 minutes?? Whats the story there?? I think he was unhappy our second goal was given as i assume he thought Perras had frozen the puck before it was poked in...with a few choice words for Mr Carson hence 10 mins for abuse of official
