Fantastic news, Devils fans have been waiting a long time and thoroughly deserve this new arena. Hope we get to play the first game against them there. What a party that could be.

DEvils fans don't seem too keen on Planet Ice winning the tender.

Yeah a fair few of them are not happy about this as they wanted Cardiff to build the rink themselves rather than PI

Pity that its PI but not sure how realistic it would be for the Devils to build there own in the current climate.

Pity they didn't get it. Wonder if PI plan on investing at places like Peterborough as well as money into new builds.

Yes it's good news they are getting an upgrade on the shed they have at the moment but it will be smaller and a downgraded version they were promised originally.

I forgot how negative people are... pity about this pity about that!!!!
For god's sake is British Ice Hockey not in a bad enough state, FACT!
We should look on this as a huge positive for the future of the game we love not decry the people that are trying to better it no matter who they are.

Bloody good on the devils i say, least in 2012 we might be able to park on tarmac rather than rubble. If they can afford to do this and able to accomondate for the hundreds of fans that might turn up each and every game aswell as the other things they could do to keep them alive within the EIHL then good, pity people like Hull can not get the money to do this sort of thing.

here's hoping that it's an Olympic pad WITH good attendance possibilities. Not a torrid cold place supporting little seating and poor views etc...
