The 75% rule only applies for getting a work permit. EU netminders can be signed regardless If that's true then that'll make things a lot easier. Not that i don't believe you, just the league don't like to share their exact rules! It's a rule put in place by the home office, there's more information here: www.icehockeyuk.co.uk/work-permits/

4 of those attendances are listed as 0 though, so the average attendance is 131504/23 = 5718.

For British teams, Manchester Flames was similar except the Flames came out of the side of the M. In my brief search I could not find any other British teams called Flames or Fire that looked remotely close.

Listening to Todd Kelman's interview after the board meeting, it sounded as though the playoff tickets would be handled in the same way as last year, so Panthers & Steelers season ticket holders get a week or so to buy tickets, followed by the early bird, followed by general sales. I think the Panthers statement is just poorly worded, it also appears they have jumped the gun, given that there still is no PR from the league or other clubs (That I can see)

Okanagan UK is based in Swindon! So only 6 of the 22 are based abroad.

He is a very good defensive forward and for that alone he's useful, he's just failed to live up to expectation on the goal scoring side of the game I feel personally Which Manchester is Glossop playing for? Either way both are seriously short benched so could get some ice time. He's playing for the Storm against the Steelers. Had a few shifts in the first.

The CHL top scorer shirt (and therefore the Swiss NLA top scorer shirt) also breaks this rule I believe.

No webcast *yet* is the official line, which suggests one at some point in the future

I think the problem lies with he government making sure they sort out all the Rumanian and Bulgarian passports and visa's first, before dealing with people who are actually going to do a worthwhile job in the country. On the other hand we cold have signed all our players early, and ended up with the likes of Berube, Higgins, Jacina, Parent, Graham and Lawrence (Mr Marmite). Bulgarian and Romanian people don't require visas to work over here, since they're part of the EU.

Not icing for Storm are P. Phillips, Bobcek, Caria and Salazar, so 8 imports playing. I think about 5 two-way players will be playing, including Aran Fox as backup netminder and Jared Dickinson who spent last year in the EPL for Phoenix

I think it would be useful if you separated ppg in to assists and goals per game

Dual as in Britt + US = Mosey Who is the other Britt + Thanks There are no other dual nationals that have the UK as their second nationality. The rules state at least 2 imports must have EU passports, not UK passports

101-103 and 115-117. 103 & 115 are closer to centre ice

The majority of the players were signed a while ago, and they are drip feeding the news over the weeks to try and build up some interest. 2 more imports gives 15 skaters, 9 forwards and 6 defencemen and I'm expecting some 2-ways with the local NIHL teams (Altrincham Aces & Widnes Wild). Ice has been painted, the changing rooms are being refurbed so it all seems like systems are go at the minute. Not sure when players will start arriving, I think it was mentioned in one of the podcasts that it will be early next week.
The club have come from nothing about 8 weeks ago to being 1 week away from the ice, and it sounds as though they have had a lot to deal with in that short space of time; as a result, a few things have suffered in my opinion, particularly keeping the website up to date. I'm sure things like that will happen once the season has started and they don't have as much to sort out.

1 of the caps imports(Judson) requires surgery,so they may sign another depending on how long he is out for.
Storm announcing another signing tomorrow. I'd expect a few more Brit signings from them as well, probably Chilcott and a few guys on 2-ways with the nihl clubs in the area

It's Bees, not Bison that Red Hockey has a 34% stake in, along with 49% of Phoenix and 100% of Tigers, Tigers NIHL and Deeside. Tigers NIHL got promoted (second in their league) last season and Tigers won the league and cup at a canter.
It sounds as though Deeside was supposed to be the 10th EPL team this season, however that fell through once Manchester couldn't get their temporary rink up in time for the season and Hull stepped in as the 10th team instead.
Deeside appear to be paying 'EPL' level wages to a few of their players and the other NIHL teams can't compete (they just signed the top import from Widnes Wild).
They also appear to be paying players 52 weeks of the year, rather than just the season and also having longer notice periods for the players as well, so they can't just hand in 2 weeks notice and leave.
It's definitely shaking things up, but it appears to just be a redistribution of the talent so far. I'm intrigued to see in the long term whether it is sustainable and for the benefit of the sport (in a development sense).
Also, the teams appear to be dropping the location from their names as part of some sort of TV/streaming deal. Apparently Tigers v Phoenix is easier to sell than Telford Tigers v Manchester Phoenix
