We probably benefitted from that being their fifth game in six days. Can I make this sound better it was their 6th in 8 days. Sun, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun.... no team can perform like that, I think they've been lucky to get 3 points from those 6 games. As per usual Helen your right

Do we not think we should maybe put this one to bed. It can be debated until we are blue in the face but it wont change one iota.Lets move on to the Giants.

The question is, Ryan Shmyr or Donkey Payette? Great weekend by Panthers, we've cut two players and our form takes an upturn. A well done to Mr Ellis I think. Well said Mark. We are very quick to jump on him if things go awry.

Take a look again, and watch Carson's reaction. Then tell me that Carson didn't think that he was about to be speared. Also note that the lino pushed Ndur backwards during the stick being pushed at Carson. If he hadn't been thare, do you still think there wouldn't have been contact? Remember Gazza sees what he wants to see ;D A little unfair on Gazza who I think usually gives an impartial and well reasoned influence to our forum. I like you think Ndur should receive a hefty ban (it looked so much worse live) but we are all entitled to our opinions and it would be a boring forum if we all agreed.

and has the culprit who shocked the linesman (not Petricko) got his dues yet? Was thinking the same. Once the truth was out it went very quiet in greater Manchester.

His First game should be against Basingstoke (away) followed by the Caps at home on the Sunday (11th)

One thing I forgot to mention. Recently there has been allegations of problems with fans of the Blaze. Last night their behaviour seemed impeccable and at the end they remained to clap off both teams.
Well done Blaze fans

Thoroughly enjoyable game. Downside that the game was played on Tuesday with conflicting entertainment. The best team in the league by a country mile deserve a Saturday slot and a full house. Having said that the atmosphere at times was electric. Couldnt disagree with Carsons calls but did he miss alot or what. Koenig deliberately lifted the net twice right in front of him but no call. Carson then spent 15 secs having a casual chat to Koenig (probably inviting himself to tea). Then in third with the game stopped he fetched Koening a new water bottle - bless!. Nice to see us having our share of lady luck with the equaliser leaving Koenig stranded. From Block 17 couldnt makeout why Coventry where complaining about GWG. Ndur must be looking at a lengthy ban for showing his displeasure. Special mention to Cookie and Ferrara who where outstanding. I presume young James Neil was rested after the his shifts in the weekend games.
P.s. Anyone know the attendance last night

Easy win Panthers if Blaze play like they did last night. Dont think there is such a thing against the Blaze. 4-3 Panthers

Would video evidence be acceptable in these enquiries. Could make the officials somewhat embarrassed.

Most enjoyable game last night. It seemed to take us quite a while to settle with the Devils being first to the puck and pressing. However once Clarkie scored the first there appeared only one winner. Defensively we appear far more solid with Meyers and Rees again outstanding. Corey seems a different player (has he a twin brother) and is really looking the part. McAslan was up for it and scored a great solo goal. Rasto was rasto making great saves and foxing the opposition with his cool stickwork. Had to laugh in third when the Panthers were put under pressure after the Devils goal. Rasto trying to unhinge the net and shouting at the ref only to find that the net had dropped back into position again. Good entertainment culminating in the team 'dive'. More of the same guys. The Devils started brightly and Smith looks a class apart. His speed of thought and movement together with his stick work must make him a target for other clubs next year. On a sad note I think old father time has caught up with Dion Darling. He appeared but a pale shadow of the guy who drove the Steelers (to our cost) to many of their victorys. Thanks for memories Dion.

Pretend your the steelers gazza. That should work a treat. The game - tough one to call at the moment as we dont the situation on the injuries front. Anything like a full squad (apart from Ryan) and we may just pinch it - 3-2
