Just seen the incident at the end of the match.
Ndur could be looking at a sizable ban after making his actions clear to carson even if AC had a poot match.
What other peoples thoughts.

he will get a slap on the wrist and a match or two ban, does not seem like the league coming down to heavy on anything, look at the payette/ mcaslan thing, what punishment did andre get?

A deliberate attack on an official. Will be most interesting to see what message the League will want to send out following that.

Any idea of what time is sports shown on EMT? I'm guessing towards the end right?

I think he will have to sit on the naughty step for about half an hour and wont be able to play with his favourite toys for a week.

I bet he gets less than what Shmyr got for the mighty offence of 'chucking your helmet onto the ice'

It wasn't clever of Ndur, but I don't think it's quite as bad as some seem to be making out. The actual event happened directly in front of us in block 5. Ndur, lunges at Carson, but was never in any danger of connecting. Having seen the actual event up close, his 'choice language' was a lot more threatening than that girly jab of the stick (If any of us fans had used such language we'd be thrown out the building!). I am not condoning his behaviour, but do not think it is actually any worse than Ryan's wobbler. Talking of throwing kit on the ice... Did Ed Courtenay, get any sort of ban for throwing the contents of his teams bench onto the ice last season??

its about the Elite league published these rules for ALL to see, its a load of balls IMO that Payette gets no punishment for sucker punching McAslan, then attaking the Panthers bench, Shymr gets three game suspension for removing his helmet? thats crap the Elite league should be ashamed of them selves for giving out such a pathetic ban. Ndur will probally just get a one game ban. Lets face it the league is run by hyprocrites by saying were going to stamp out cheapshotting we won't stand for this but nothings done.

and has the culprit who shocked the linesman (not Petricko) got his dues yet? Was thinking the same. Once the truth was out it went very quiet in greater Manchester.

As I see it, the incidents with Shmyr and Ndur are different to the Payette incident.
Let me explain. For the EIHL to issue additional penalties, then this can only happen if one of 2 things happen.
1. The player is assessed a Match penalty by the ref, or 2. The opposition club lodge an appeal for additional punishment (I think within 48 hours of the incident)
If either instance occurs, then Simon Kirkham and his team (?) have to review the game recording and decide on any additional action if necessary. For Shmyr and Ndur, this has/will happen(ed).
Payette received 2 x Game penalties, thus no automatic review by the EIHL. Also, I understand that Panthers did not request for additional punishment.
The next question is why would Panthers not request for extra punishment? I recall Paul Adey explaining this a couple of years ago.
The player that incurs the penalty already has a Game penalty and cannot continue to play against the Panthers on that night. If the player gets an additional 2 game ban, then it is most likely that he will be missing games against our rivals, thus it may work against Panthers with respect to league position. As Panthers were not due to play Vipers again for several weeks, it makes no sense to make an appeal.
Payette's actions may seem worse than Shmyr's and Ndur to some, but the ref only gave him 2 x Game penalties and not Match.
Hope that makes sense.

A match penalty will suffice there.
Its a point with the stick in a threatening manner not an intent to hit and there is a world of difference in each incident.
No further punishment needed imo

No further punishment needed imo If you think so. Instead of the flippant Eye rolling smily how about debating the point then? If Ndur wanted to hit him he would have, if he wanted him to flinch the stick would have been closer. it was a point in anger which deserved a match penalty if it was a swing it would have been. All this talk before hand about a 'spearing' like motion isnt backed up on the camera imo. he points at Carson with the stick and doesnt swipe at Carson with the stick. That garners a match penalty nothing more as no one was in danger.
