The last regular season meeting between the two teams. Not been a happy series for us - seems to be a case of everyone wanting to win too much and blowing up in the process. In reality, this game counts for nothing so there's a chance for the team to relax a bit. I'll take a loss on Friday (and the associated gloating ) if we beat the Steelers on the way to the Play-off title

actually am quite optimistic about this game and think we will do a number on them, 4-1 win, Shmyr to get another goal.
Shmyr v Darby is on the cards i believe, well i hope.
at this point of the season il be very happy just for an entertaining game but would love to see us carry on the momentum with a good result

i think we have the advantage going in to the game but if woolhouse is in nets who knows!! totally agree about shmyr and moran dropping the gloves though and should be an entertaining match whatever the weather! Just hope we can finally beat them and that rasto is fit and ready to rumble!!
(although i wud rather not take the risk with rasto if theres a chance he could get more injured for the play-offs)

shmyr would kill him, its not a fair contest. Moran has been a fighter to some extent in nottingham but he has kept to within his winnable level IF he took on shmyr i suspect he could leave the ice with some serious damage and i dont really want to see that even if he is wearing a steelers shirt now. Maybe a close match up would be someone like mac but thats hardly a fair swap though....crappy third liner for a goal scoring import....

Anyone planning to take their scoring cards for when the Steelers players give it the threatricals when within 5 feet of a Panthers player again? I think Johnson and Darby are marked men and hopefully they will feel the wrath.

Indeed tex. Moran v Shmyr would be a walkover. Moran is a willing but, shall we say inconistent, scrapper. I still remember the beating Jason Baird gave him. Scary. A lot depends on how we contain Tessier or how he feels . He and Sutter were pretty invisible last time, and we lost by the only goal with 11 skaters at the end. One word. Discipline.

Come on Rastoo!!! I really hope he's better because Geoff Woolhouse hasn't had enough experience but I suppose it would be a good chance for him to get in the right mood for playing as he has hardly played since the start of this season. Plus it doesn't really matter who wins this one just want (like MP) them to totally kick there buts in the play offs!!!!!

As I can't make this game I'm fully expecting the law of sod to strike and Panthers claim an easy victory.

Finnerty and Rees to sort things out and Finnerty to edge it after Reesy knocked his teeth out last time!
Il go with 4-2 panthers win, they cant totally whitewash us can they?! Thats if Rasta plays and is fit, if not I wudnt like to say!

Hes got a hernia but will prob play through it
Edit: Looks like Darby and Sutter both out, if Vez doesnt get in in time they are going to be heavily shortbenched and 3imports down, even with Vez in its a must win game for panthers to save face
