Really wish I was able to watch this somehow. So exciting to see how this team will hold up against the Steelers. I'll be refreshing Twitter like a mad man today.

Does anyone know if there's anyway to access freesports tv from abroad? I'm currently living in Canada and will continue to do so for the rest of the season. Yes. Have to register but it's free. tvplayer.com/watch/freesportsIt says only available in the UK when I try unfortunately. I suppose a VPN would be unethical in this situation.......

Quality signing. Obviously getting on towards the tail end of his career now but he still seems to have been putting up decent points in almost all of his seasons. Welcome to the club Mark!

MUCH better. Logo looks far more serious and less cartoony and the name change should help attract a wider audience.

Drafted 189th overall by the Coyotes. Well done that man.

100% fine by me. Good luck to him but I'm glad he's going.

I was hesitant to say anything up until now but honestly, this roster is starting to look a decent step up from anything we've had before (excluding lock out season). This will be exciting to see what will happen this season.

Practically speaking we’ll be playing McDavid, Draisaitl, Karlsson, Lane, Ekman-Larsson and the like and it won’t be pretty but my god it’ll be fun. This has been worth every second of hangover and recovery and travel and drum beats. Being an Oilers fan it’s a double edged sword, whilst wanting to see McDavid, Draisaitl, Nurse, Klefbom and all, I would much prefer them to still be going for Mr Stanley!! But hey, never thought I would have this dilemma!! I just moved over to Edmonton about a month and a half ago and I have to say, it puts our Panthers grievances in perspective. The whole city is disenfranchised with the Oilers. Still an absolute privalige to see the likes of Mcdavid play live.

A coach with experience! I'll take that. To go from thinking we were going to get Clarke or Russell to getting an ex-NHL player with vast coaching experience in the DEL.

Will the semis be on the radio? Don't want to pay for Cardiff vs Fife but wouldn't mind giving the commentary a listen.

I've emailed the arena this morning to see if they are prepared to re open communication channels now that it has become apparent that Panthers were lying to them about the litigation. Unfortunately the Arena are not responding now. If I dint get a reply by tomorrow lunchtime I'll try a few phone calls. Any luck?

Car got a puncture on the drive up, by the time we got the spare fitted and pumped we decided to slack it off. Did I make the right call? I almost fell asleep whilst there if that helps.

How do you figure that one out? By virtue that even if winning every single game in regulation, including the 3 remaining games against Cardiff and our 2 games in hand, we still need Cardiff to drop points elsewhere to catch them. Simpler terms: we are 11 points back, our games in hand and games against Cardiff can only yield as 10 points advantage against them. Ergo not in our hands. Ah, I see. I thought you meant it was mathematically impossible to win it entirely.

If we play like that tomorrow we'll be crushed. The second and third was just unbearable. The power plays were God awful. 2/3 were god awful... one we scored on 😉 Very true! The first period was generally pretty good. The two power plays we didn't score on though were just dreadful though. Didn't seem to get many shots on goal at all. It almost seemed like we weren't even on the powerplay at all.

Excessive ban in my opinion. He acted like a child to the ref and I know he's a repeat offender and all but SIX games?! That's insane. I know the referees need to stamp their authority in these situations and I don't know exactly what was said on ice but a six game ban for mouthing off and throwing a stick just seems insane.
The fact he reacted to the clean hit from the Fife player isn't all that news worthy at all. I mean, we've seen it happen from players from all the teams at some point or another. Guilty of poor judgment and hot headedness maybe but jabbing at a player for a clean hit shouldn't be reason for any kind of game ban. A 2 minute penalty perhaps...

How did you guys see the game last night, as I didn't watch it. Were we good, were you guys poor, was it a just a boring game with both teams playing poor, hear Galbraith had a great game. It sure was a big game, with probably the two best teams battling it out. A team came up from Cardiff for the game last night. They didn't blow my socks away but they were very well organised. Panthers looked second best all night except for 10 minutes in the 3rd. Galbraith kept us in it. I think 2-1 probably flattered us to be honest. Awful officiating too.

14 shots so far, that’s not good enough, a very flat performance, our fans are abysmal. It’s going to take something special in this 3rd... Well it was loud over in block 4. That's despite the appalling on-ice performance. Picked up in the third but it was too little too late. Our PP was just dreadful as is to now be expected. We had 4 minutes of powerplay (in the second period I think) and I counted just 3 shots on goal. Unbelievable. I was pretty impressed with our PK tonight but it just was not enough. The officiating was just woeful also tonight.

Good to get Gospel, Tetlow and Kelsall on the ice tonight. That was the main point of the game tonight in my eyes. Couldn't care less about the actual scoreline.

Roseville serving a penalty for this game. Silly boy needs to control his emotions better apparently!

Almost felt emotional at the end there. Just so happy with this team. They put in so much effort tonight and into every game so far this season. And the fans were just so great tonight. For a Panthers match, the noise was incredible. Just amazing.
Didn't feel the scoreline truly reflected the standard of play by the guys tonight and I've liked to have seen us score a goal or two but truly I don't even really care. I'd have been happy to have even just won a game in the group stages- to have got this far was unthinkable.
