I know we have 2 import goalies, but I’d like to see Gospel play here. Given the “pick your opponents” thing with the CC, it doesn’t really matter if we win or lose (I know winning is a habit). Flyers on the Sunday is the key game of the weekend

Flyers on the Sunday is the key game of the weekend Technically 4th seed hasn't been decided. A point in Manchester will get us 4th seed and home advantage (providing we aren't picked by the top 3)

Stick Gospel in goal, play tetlow/Kelsall/Hazeldine if they are avaliable, we are playing Cardiff in the cup as no one is going to pick us or them

Can we just forfeit this game?
Get Callum, GM, Paws, Ken...etc dressed for this one. Really hope we don't pick up any injuries here.

Of course, I could be wrong - I'm not a coach or an owner, and their priorities may be different to what mine would be - but I'm expecting us to be facing Cardiff in the next round. And I'm not sure how much of an advantage 'home ice advantage' will turn out to be... we can win at home, we can win away. I'd much rather see Sam Gospel get another full game under his belt... he is potentially a very valuable asset to the club long term, but if all we let him do is ride the bench and get the odd 5 minutes here or there, we are going to lose him... and that would be sheer idiocy.

I honestly don’t care who we get or who picks us in the next round. Either way to win the thing your going to have to play a top seed. Play Gospel and give the lad a chance, no point in him being here if he ain’t ever going to get a game.

is There standing at the storms rink? I understand it’s like the old Big blue tent? They don't let you stand at the Plexi if I remember correctly. It also has the worst sightlines imaginable. The best I've had so far was getting seats right at the back and standing all night.

Roseville serving a penalty for this game. Silly boy needs to control his emotions better apparently!

That DOPS write-up is brilliant.

That DOPS write-up is brilliant. It's like a school report. Coincidentally, he and another Storm player apparently got stuck in Belfast after they were too drunk to board their flight.

They weren't drunk according to Storm's Social Media guy, just lost track of the time and people heard they were having a drink at the bar and assumed they were wasted. As for the DOPS report, it's the former NHL linesmen so he will probably have encountered Rosehill at some point, knows he isn't a smart player so he may have decided to make an example of him and Storm to subtly give his views on Goons.

I'm suspecting that seeing that this is a nothing game, I have a feeling that this will be a non physical game.
Neilson and Finnerty aren't going to want to risk injuries and/or suspensions in a meaningless game especially when both teams have Title aspirations.

Confirmed that Gospel is starting. Tetlow and Kelsall will also ice tonight and some senior players are being rested. Exactly the right thing to do. Hazeldine may also play

So a defeat in what was really a meaningless cup match, with someone deciding to implement choose your own opponent with 1 game to go...
Elite League not been updating the MK V Steelers League game, but was / still am there & can confirm it finished MK 7-2 Steelers in what wasn't meaningless game!
