Brilliant! Good starting point for next season having those 2 back. It's also interesting to note that we only used 2 of the uni deals as apposed to 3 last season. I think we have five spaces that we can use at any one time, when this season ends three spaces become available obviously. It is a pretty good tool for attracting the best players we can I think we should be able to attract better quality players than we have this year Wether they're on uni deals or not, look at Cardiffs team, the majority of their players would walk into our side and I doubt they're all on uni deals

I'm really looking forward to the 6 hour drive up to Edinburgh to see this shower of poop Don't go. Save your money. I'm glad I don't have to spend any more on this organisation. I honestly wouldn't if I hadn't already paid for it.hopefully the city will be more enjoyable than the hockey

Brit pack needs looking at, yes. Extra players to rotate/compete for places, yes. Fitness coach etc, yes. But a few questions: - Who's your centre on a line containing McGrattan, Farmer and Janssen? - You want Neil Black to put ALL the money he makes back into the club? That's illogical. - I'd have no problem with Adey as a coach but he's never recruited has he? That Belfast team was put together by Kelman. - Probably wouldn't get players of Williams ability unless they come with the baggage he does (age & injury) would you? -doesn't matter, it's the 4th line. Want the opposition to win the face off so we can smash them. -75% would do. -we'd have a decent gm and ideally some scouts. - of course we could, see point 2. farmer is currently too good to be using like that in my opinion, I'd have brown, mcgrattan and betteridge.

it's disgusting really, fair enough weve not much to play for, but people are paying hard earned money to watch this, they should be at least trying to earn theirs

Can't disagree with anything said previously. However, one player that is starting to frustrate me is McGrattan. He doesn't use his size and strength in open play and doesn't step in when things flare up on the ice. Twice last night we had scuffles developing and Farmer stepped in once and on the second McGrattan skated over late and didn't even make eye contact with the Blaze player. TBH i would much rather we had Bordeleau and Klotz, both of whom throw their weight around on the ice and are first to step in when tings get rough. Yes he's scored a few goals but i would wager we could get a much better goal scorer for half the price. And before anyone says he keeps it honest on the ice and stops us getting bullied well I'm not really seeing that. totally agree with that, I would like him to stay though as his point scoring has been pretty good,he's useful screening. I do think we should be looking for a hard checking forward like cam in the summer to replace macmillan .

lee might have been better than the last game but he's still not good enough, what was he doing for their goal,2 on 1 he should be blocking the pass and letting miika deal with the shot ,or throwing his body down to block, he did nothing but stand and watch

Brown-make him captain lindhagen-versatile forward mcgrattan farmer-import quality betteridge-improving slowly but surely pacl-back up clarke
the rest can go for me carter-just not good enough lee-obvious reasons lacho-same as above sertich-not good enough nikiforuk-love his attitude but no quality schultz- I wince everytime he's touched lawrence- hot and cold spang- looks like a frustrated forward wiikman-not consistent enough dimmen-another one made of glass waugh- same as above green- reminds me of the black beetle song (manikin challenge) better brits around than him

Corey wants sacking, it's not the players fault, it's his for recruiting this pile of poop, this season has been a big fail, winning the buffet plate doesn't make up for failing in the league and cup the way we have

defencemen can't defend, forwards can't shoot, it is what it is. noticed mcgrattan turn around on the bench arguing back at Corey.

for me it should be 3 conferences of 4 teams. the Scots, Cardiff,Belfast, nottingham and shuff, Coventry,Manchester, Guilford and mK. play 4x4 own conference and 2x2 others, giving the big 4 no advantage, keeping the rivalry games for the money aspect. only slight unfairness I see is Manchester having to travel more than most.

fantastic performance last night, great result but I feel today will be harder with a tiring defence. what a player we have in williams though, although he looked rusty at times he still looked a class above with his passing and a nice finish for the goal, it was good to see him dictating plays to the players before face offs too, his experience can really help the rest of the team. really hope we can tempt him into one more season with us.

I was hopeful of a different result this time in Sheffield, but seeing we are still without waugh, dimmen and no replacement for kudroc, I really can't see anything more than 0 point weekend.how long have these 3 been injured/left?

williams-Nikiforuk-shultz Carter-moran-brown mcgrattan-lawrence-farmer clarke-lacho-ollie
looks pretty good to me, maybe swap clarke for Carter but I think he's been playing a lot better since being put on a line with brown or possibly clarke swapped with mcgrattan as he'll put up points on a better line

looking at the highlights from Cardiff it looks like we played similar to tonight, only difference being miika, we cause ourself way too many problems with turnovers in our own zone, basic errors messing behind and in front of our own net . on tonight , I don't think I could count more than a handful of face offs we won. I don't understand why Corey changed lines after their first goal, first period was a little dull, but we were 1-0 up and pretty comfortable, I think Corey panics and by doing that and messing with all the lines again caused a lot more problems. Corey is the problem with this team. there's no chemistry and as soon as a line gets some he changes it. Clueless

Do forum members think these going to be half the gone because I don't, I think 2 or 3 at a push to come in and 1 leaving!!!!!!! unless they're brits coming in what are we going to do with 2 or 3? I think that's it, 1 in 1 out

looks a great signing, frustrating that we couldn't make a couple of signings like this earlier or press season though, similar to last year though , bring a couple in late , win the cup and all in rosey. id love to see us do well in the cup and continental cup,but another part of me wants us to fail purely to bite GMs backside and get a good side put together next year from the start

not sure where to put this post but when players were signed i said a big no thanks to Brown and called Carter to get 40 goals. Hands are up with a solid "my bad" Carter would do well if he was used to playing in a more physical league and had a play maker on his line (you'd like to think anyway) and Brown has exceeded expectation, great energy guy and id like him to be back next season. For the brits youve got to wonder how we can shuffle the pack, its so weak! Why we ever let Richardson and Swindlehurst go is beyond me, both are mass upgrade on what we have/had on D this year. lacho and Ollie arent the best we could do with throwing some money at other players and hope they bite. would you have moved for Peacock in this summer? Clarke and Farmer are safe. As for the Imports id retain dimmen, Kudroc, Nikiforuk, Brown and McGrattan. the rest im not fussed about. id have kept Waugh but two long injuries in two years has put him to the axe and i know Dimmen was injured last year and is this year but the collision for this current injury was just one of those awkward knocks that could go either way. Id get in a new goalie over Wiikman and keep Pacl but we need a goalie coach to work with them to improve them and keep them healthy. brits, I'd keep clarke and farmer, betteridge possibly Lee as a 7th dman, try and bring back swindle Hurst and have 5 import dmen, lacho swapped for either prince or Ben Davies.I'd let green go aswell , I can't see why he's being played when Corey obviously doesn't trust him. Tom mardy would be my back up choice as a Brit, looks really capable between the pipes. imports, get rid of spang, sertich and waugh, adding another big dman like kudroc but younger and 1 offensive d plus swindle Hurst. keep brown and play him 4th line with ollie and mcgrattan, physical line I'd keep shultz,Larry ,nikiforuk, Carter maybe ( think he'd produce with a proper playmaker on his line) let moran and macmillan go , playmaker and a sniper coming in, to me that would have everything we need to challenge
