Problem is I wanted to subscribe today and only present customers to Viaplay can continue with viewing till later on in the month. New subscribers have to go via premier sports.
Even from the emails advertising it and urging me to subscribe to see WC Ice Hockey are not showing any hockey 'up coming' on premier sports....is this the situation because the first game starts at 7.15pm? Football etc all showing what's coming up today/tomorrow but not a joy of hockey bar NHL. What have I done wrong here?
I want to see it on my TV....so of the four choices I picked prime rather than sky/virgin or streaming services. I assume streaming only puts it on your PC/phone/ipad. And they do say a smart TV that I have is sufficient.
Can anyone help explain for me? Cheers

I know its me but why can't I see Ice Hockey (bar NHL) on Premier sports on my smart TV? I've had paid the £14.99 and found Premier sports through Prime Video app on the TV. But can see WC on Viaplay. So cancelled the prime (Amazon) subscription and got reimbursed. Is the Viaplay a choice to cancel after one month? ********************************************************* There on I've looked into Viaplay AND it says I have to go to Premier sports to subscribe? Does that mean , do as before and subscribe but choose the viaplay app to view?

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS start tomorrow on the 10th May with Britains first game v Canada the day after. Will be updating part 16 here to add material at times, otherwise a new thread for discussion?

HHmmm With the appointment of the very liked Kevin Moore to Coventry. This throws more connotations into it all. After just one year as an assistant coach would have been very risky giving him the coaching job at Nottingham. At some point even Nottingham fans will run out of patience and that would heap a stupid amount of pressure on someone’s first coaching job. Oh I'm not taking any sides, choosing the coach myself or such as I'm no one with ESP. But this has added extra spice for social media, fan chat et all. Makes the season a tad more interesting.

Will be interesting to see how he does, and whether we've missed a trick. Good luck to him. Yup, If he does better than Stewart, fireworks. This will cause eruptions somewhere. Both coaches will be vying to win games between each other. What came first, the Coventry appointment or Nottingham's and I'm not talking about press releases. Who approached who etc..

That’s not the best game sheet either. Clearly not as I attended (as you know - thanks for PO prog) on the 27th April. There were more than 20 odd people than me - why even bother filling this in. Never mind the addition counts. Why Polish minder with two goals in 65 minutes? Look they tried to play me as numbers 8 Chambers and 28 Michael

The two challenges recently, where GB beat Poland at home 3-1 and 2-1, leads us to remember to book onto the calendar the MAY World Championships and at 'the end of August' (a much as next season) the final OLYMPIC qualifiers. Results to show here in the GB section. www.icehockeyuk.co.uk/motorpoint-arena-nottingham-gb-poland/ - complete with clip from the wrong game.

Went last night and as usual a few of the, I guess, 'local poles'. Period scores of 0-0 and 0-0 then 'know all's' claiming it was a two game aggregate score. Knowing nothing it went into OT and penalty shots. So two out of two against a team also going into the top flight again. They have some history.
Watch them get to stay up easily.

44 would do me and then an extended Play-Offs. Re-designed Cup of course. It'd do most of us. Saddly we've recycled this chat to many times as we know the chances of it actually happening. Ideal(regaddless of EIHL excuses). CC played like the old autumn cup. Done and dusted early doors. CC finals weekend(replica of Play Off weekend) September/October. It's the only fan party weekend so would take off even if it needed a few seasons to fully bed in. Shortened league campaign. Propper plat offs. Even if QF best of 3, SF best of 5, Final best of 5. Last part for PO most difficult due to rink hire.

If the rumoured increase to teams happens, do we see more league fixtures or the same but spread across more teams? If it went to 11 itd almost certainly be 60 games. Cant see them going down to 40. Unless they had a huge format change to play offs. 12 teams and I think we'd see conferences return. 12 straight is 44 or 66. 66 feels like a stretch to far. 44 and they lose 5 home gates. 44 would do me and then an extended Play-Offs. Re-designed Cup of course.

Can't wait to read the match report of the Giants semifinal win over the Devils. Just hope they're not writing it from the gamecentre again... View AttachmentI always thought it went to penalties of there were "No events in this period" during overtime 😂 www.eliteleague.co.uk/game/4365-car-belFor the record it's been 25 minutes now since the game ended. The game sheet is long since published. It's not like they don't know who scored right? Right? End of year report: Must do better.

Bizarre they dont link to the full awards and all star team(s). MVP would be Weninger for me. Lewis Hook must’ve peed off a lot of people, he scored more points than Dowd and was top scorer for his team. Probably in the FINALS program today. There should also be the 'media' awards unless they have forgotten those as well.

It's hope that players do look at more than the wage, though I've no idea what that is. That he loved the crowd, city and how he could spend his time here. When you look at other smaller clubs/towns and who returns there. Nottingham must be high on the list of places to be happy in.

Is this interest in just Coventry jerseys or others, for example - your wanting information on Nottingham Panthers too?
A list of Panther jerseys has always been in my books written over the years. Contact me if you require anything on Nottingham.
