Think Conway burnt his bridges for inclusion and the hook incident means his international career has stalled too
As for Tetlow, maybe Pete Russell knows far more about hockey and the players than the dissenters on here.

I like to hope that Hazeldine was knocking on the door for selection given the season he's had.

I like to hope that Hazeldine was knocking on the door for selection given the season he's had. He ia better than 3 players in that D at least. I have bo problems with Tetlow being in there, other than I believe Hazeldine is a better player. I'd probably get rid of Batch or Philips though first. Philips is getting on a bit now and on the slide. It's a real shame Conway is a big A-Hole as he's a good player that GB could really do with.

Hazeldine is a future top drawer D man, but inexperienced at that level. That said, he has absolutely looked the part here, I'd take him for the experience (at least) over at least one of that list.
Strange to me that possibly 2 of the best forwards the coach has to pick from are ruled out for "off-ice issues", shall we say? What's the story with Joey Lewis, surely he should be in with a shout?

Joey Lewis made the squad the last time we were at this level, only played twice and didn’t look up to it imo. Hasn’t made a GB squad since either.

He's had a solid career in DEL2, so really ought to be capable of playing for GB.

About time Hazledine got picked for warm up games at least. There are quite a few GB Dmen that are getting a bit old now. Especially Philips.

Went last night and as usual a few of the, I guess, 'local poles'. Period scores of 0-0 and 0-0 then 'know all's' claiming it was a two game aggregate score. Knowing nothing it went into OT and penalty shots. So two out of two against a team also going into the top flight again. They have some history.
Watch them get to stay up easily.

Why would it be an aggregate score thing? There’s nothing to “win”?

Thought GB were very average. Some awful penalty shots too Apart from some linked up brilliance to create the only GB regulation time goal (starting with a superhuman stretch to hold the blue line) I thought Saturday night was the worst standard international ice hockey game I have seen. I only hope that GB have got their sloppy and scrappy play out of their system in the warm ups.
