I think Perlini should be on the 2nd line. I think as someone said above Farmer/Brown/Doty would be a good powerful checking line capable of putting up good points too. Could have Perlini and Kovacs on either wing. An extra creative player to be signed to go the 4th line to provide competition for the top slots and whoever form dips drops to the 4th line.

On reflection he might come in and do the job Bussieres was supposed to do. If he puts the same numbers up again from the 3rd line and adds a bit of toughness then its not too bad at all. Only 24 too and he'll be playing under a much better coach than he had last year too so may get better still

Can't say i'm too excited about this one compared to our other signings. A bit of a "meh" signing.

The early signs and with the style Cherno likes his will be entertaining to watch, playmakers and Tough d men. Add a couple of real marksmen on the top two lines and I ll be happy I’m waiting to see the top line centre. Bet he doesn’t come from some second rate French team, Brampton Beast or somewhere similar this year !!!! If its Luke Pither it will be. He was a Brampton player wasn't he?

The D is now looking very strong. Olsen and Hughes aren’t getting pushed around both massive bodies with great pedigree and both being more defensive d men on the face of it we’re looking stronger in that department than last year. I don’t think Gagnon will be back now as I would have thought the last two spots will go to more offensive minded players. Well done panthers and cherno

And he was already coming back!!! Thanks for keeping everyone in the dark over that one Panthers. Who else knew he was on a multi year deal? This lack of transparency is what irritates me about Panthers sometimes. Great news though. The most important piece of business we could make this summer Does anyone read what I post on here? Every player in their first year last year who signed from the start of the season was on second year optional. Optional means if first Panthers & the player is happy then they return. Reading between the lines all that has happened with Perlini is a two year deal where we are clearly paying him more than last season. No disrespect but I don’t want hear it from you. I want to hear it from the panthers

Being as Callum has randomly mentioned 91, 81 , 75 days to go then I'd expect pither, Gagz and bus to be announced over the summer. This signing will be hard to beat all summer. Huge signing. Well done Cherno! Welcome on Brett Kind of hope you're wrong. Really don't want to see Bussieres back. Up there with there with one the worst season long imports we've had since i've been watching.

For me theres nothing wrong with the prices for these extra two games. They are league games and panthers is a business as well as an ice hockey club. You say Black must be laughing but i bet you'd do the same in that position if it were your business. Where you might have a point about cheaper tickets and the "one pound discount" joke is the pre-season games. Thats when there should be real cheap tickets going at say £5 a seat throughout the whole arena

So, if I read that right, you will complain no matter what they do - just about sums you up - complain for the sake of complaining !!!! P.S. Read the article from the club re Pro Rata ticket prices - but I doubt that will satisfy you No that’s not what I meant. If they had said half price or even up to £10 a ticket I would have had no problem, but I knew they wouldn’t do that. They’ve actually been very clever and made the core fans think they’re getting a bargain, when if your a season ticket holder they’re actually giving you no discount whatsoever on your normal price. If your not a season ticket holder your paying your normal full price too. Not even the usual measly “one pound discount” for anybody.....nothing,zero,zilch. Unless, later they announce that non season tickets will get a discount.....they havnt said that bit, clever of them eh. Imagine being a season ticket holder and paying your normal price, only to find the guy with a one off ticket did get a discount ! So at the end of the day, nobody gets a discount, even though Panthers just pocketed an extra £100k ish. Black must be loving Edinburgh’s demise !!! Why would there be a discount for non season ticket holders? At the end of the day it just another two games people can either choose to attend or not. The only problem this bought was for season ticket holders who now have an extra two games which have now been priced fairly. This is just another example of you panther bashing again as you seem unable to anything else in any thread regardless of its topic. Either that or you're just cheap and want something for nothing

I think the trickier one is the challenge cup set up and how you fit it in around the new league. You can't have straight up knock out and you can't divide 11 teams equally for a short format tournament. I'd hate that set up by the way. Back to playing Steelers around 15 times a season

A number of players with British passports, but classed as imports, despite playing for GB, to challenge the league legally for discrimination since they cannot be classed a Brit players when icing on the EIHL. Liam Stewart born in London an import, yet Jackson Whistle born in Canada a Brit... will be interesting to see where this ends up! Hope they win it. Think the Brit classification rule is ridiculous. If you carry a British passport you should be classed as a Brit. Period.

You would think Brandon would be classed as a brit too. Would be a very poor signing and a waste if he's an import

Just to be fair here, it could be that Panthers have drafted an article about a signing they're pretty sure they're getting. But its not quite 100%. I reckon this is probably true. Just a gaffe from the Panthers office

Mustukovs always seems bitter and completely fixated on stats. It is weird that Sheffield haven’t announced him when Belfast pretty much did it for them. Usually Simms is desperate to be the font of all knowledge. Agree with that completely. Stats aren't everything. He should just grow up and move on like everybody else, No sympathy for him whatsoever

Got a feeling we're being drip fed these Brit re-signings building up to the big one of Perlini's return

How about we get together, as a forum & produce some profile characteristics for the Dual National & Brit players, that would help us judge who was worthy of a place in the squad. Don't you start!!!

Rumour on THF that Sam Duggan has left his team in Sweden. Would quite like him at Panthers. Think he has more potential than Kelsall
