Not sure what to make of this on to be honest. Seems to be on the decline going by stats and the leagues he's played and coming off an injury. More impressed with the defence signings so far than the forwards. One things for sure though we are going to be a BIG team

As well as Lindhagen & Bussieres too for that matter.... Oh yeah They were so anonymous I forgot about those two. 🤔🙄 Bussieres wasn’t anonymous. His awfulness was blatantly apparent and clear for everyone to see 😂

Moved to Esbjerg Energy in Denmark. Decent player but failed to live up to expectations

Tim Billingsley was also drafted 189th by the Coyotes. Couple of picks from that round in that year went on to have pretty decent NHL careers in Jason Demers and Matt Barkowski (the 186th and 190th picks). Plenty more than that. Henrik Zetterberg, Henrik Lundqvist, Joe Pavelski, Pekka Rinne, Patric Hornqvist all drafted round 7 or later

Going on his best games last year yes I would but they may be taking a longer term view the same as Cardiff did with Bowns. Am I happy with Garnet for us? No as Galbraith was far better at the run in last season and Garnet is still on his uni course too. Garnett knows he's no1 next season you will see a totally different goalie to this year . To a certain extent yes but he still has a certain amount of pressure to perform as rich stated that if his performances don’t improve from last season then another goalie would be brought in alongside him

He shouldn't have seen any black Pumas or Lions because they don't exist. The former most certainly do. Black (or melanistic) Pumas are one of the many types of melanistic big cats* that get grouped together and called 'Panthers'. (*The others usually being melanistic jaguars and leopards) Thank you Mr Attenborough

I'm a critic of all as regards things including Jerseys. Whilst I think more effort could be made towards style I'm happy with the colours. No need for complaint over the name. It, after all, does show Nottingham (be it in our sponsors name also) on the shirt which we have moaned about for ages NOT being there. The 'building society' part is smaller to eleborate the Nottingham part more. Which after all IS the new name for the society anyway but adding 'building society' sells it to people beyond our back doors. Has what is expected. The logo is our Panthers logo so the Panther is represented. Who says it’s a Panther,it could easily be a Puma on our shirts. Apart from it being black. How many black lions or pumas have you seen?

Is anyone else unimpressed with the Steelers roster so far? Whistle seems a gamble. Pitt looks good but not too impressed by the other 2 they've brought in. Especially compared to Panthers new signings I remember people saying that last year... Then Christmas happened... I thought Steelers had a poor team on paper last year. The fact that we underachieved doesn't make the steeler good it just made us a diappointment. I used to look at Steelers squads and think oh god they're looking formidable again. So far this year and last year i'm just left thinking is that the best you can do. I know things a far from complete yet but i look at their imports so far and just think i wouldn't want any of them. I wonder if we'll find out whether the Christmas slump is a Panthers thing or a Neilson thing

Pither, Brown definitely. I rote both highly. Mok maybe. Went missing sometimes but still young and can improve and would be interesting to see what he can do under Chernomaz. Derlago not bothered, i'd say no. Lindhagen no. Good energy but not enough return Bussieres. NO, JUST NO!!

GARNETT GOSPEL IMPORT - HUGHES OLSEN - LEE LEPINE - BILLINGSLEY IMPORT - IMPORT - RHEAULT KOVACS - IMPORT - PERLINI FARMER - IMPORT - IMPORTLACHOWICZ - DOTY - BETTERIDGE Roster looks quality so far and potentially league winning and the top line forwards are yet to come. Not counting my chickens just yet but theres great cause for optimism at the moment. Would like to see a really creative dman for the final slot. Someone in the Cody Wild mould with real puck handling ability who can run the powerplay I think Kovacs will be 3rd line therefore I'd like to see 4 imports still to arrive in those top 2 lines As he's a creative player and points scorer i think he'll be top 2 lines. On the OS he's described as someone who provides bullets for others to score. He's not going to be as effective if he's on a line with Farmer or Doty or whoever. Besides then lines will chop and change throughout the season anyway so nothing will be set in stone

Someone in the Cody Wild mould with real puck handling ability who can run the powerplay Yes it’s certainly looking a very solid and tough D. But with the size of them, creativity, mobility, and speed could be the only possible concerns. The last import D needs to be a mobile skilful point getter. I see your point but i'm not too concerned about creativity or mobility at the moment. They may be big but they are still young. Hughes is supposed be a good skater according to the statement on the OS and i doubt Olsen would have played that many games if he couldn't skate well and his numbers are comparable to Sauve so should offer some offence and Billingsley also adds somewhat too but i agree the last dman should be a point scorer

Myers seems to fit the build up. I guess that would mean we're carrying a spare. Basically Clarkes replacement. No.8 now with another clue on twitter saying "no place like home does seem to point to Myers"

What i do like is the clarity and foresight that Chernomaz seems to have. Very clear, very concise and the exact opposite of what we're used to. He wants to give Garnett his chance and put his faith in him. Fine. But at least he's made it clear that he's got to be up to scratch or he'll sign someone else. You never heard anything like this from Corey

Remember Kyle Hardy? The absolute car crash of a signing. Well after 2 good years in France he's now playing in the EBEL alongside Yann Sauve

Another cracking signing. Rich is doing a great job here by the looks of it. I just can’t help but wonder where on earth we’ve been looking for players in previous years ! 🙄 Brampton And guys who Brock Wilson and David Ling know

Doubt it. Can't imagine he'd spend all those years in Cardiff to move to another EIHL rival. Would be great if he did though. A PPG defence man like him or O'Connor is what we need it just makes you so much more of a threat

Corey also signed Zion from Steelers and Leclair from Coventry....yeah the less said the better! And Chris Higgins ! 😫 Wow.....he signed us some beauties eh ? Desperation signings !!!!!! 🙄🙄 To be fair Higgins was a good player. He just spent more time in the treatment room than on the ice

I can’t see how anyone can think this is a bad signing?! He outscored Lindhagen and Bussieres last season on a poor Clan team. I remember people questioning Cardiff’s decision to sign Farayna - and he turned into a cult hero there so absolutely no reason Doty can’t be the same here. Seriously you can’t compare Doty to Faryna, go to hockey database there’s no comparison. I think its a fair comparison actually. Both similar types of players. Similar point return in ECHL. Both score more than create. Yes Faryna has a better point return when he was at Dundee but i bet he was on the ice more for that team. Doty spent time for Braehead playing on the 4th line with a 17 year old. Things aren't as simple as looking at a stats page

Okay will be careful with what I say, as a foreigner it counts for nothing, your signings so far have been very impressive but Doty don’t do it for me, But then it don’t have to, in fairness he is still a young lad and hopefully can only get better. Your new Coach will live or die by his decisions and he is better qualified than me To make this signing. I would be a bit gutted if we had signed him at Cardiff, but maybe the lad will prove my amateurish views to be crap. Pretty much how i feel really. Not really excited by this signing but he may come good. Under better coaching with a better team around him he might do well. I think he might be in the Faryna mould
