I really can't understand why we accept so much rubbish from the club. I've always followed Mansfield town and can compare this with the end of the Keith Haslam era if anyone knows what I mean? The owner was stripping the club of its assetts and pocketing the cash, putting mediocre squads out year upon year. Neil black and GM although they are not stripping assetts they are pocketing a shed load of cash, Not interested in results on ice at all. The big difference is. The fans. At Mansfield there were regular protests, petitions, chants. What do we have here? The vast majority of near sell out crowds going crackers over winning deadwood games for the second half of the season, year after year. That along with the constant cringeworthy tweets etc constantly makes me feel sick. To me , it's down to alot of these people why nothing has changed and nothing will ever change. I'm torn about renewing my season ticket, I love the sport, I love the Panthers, but I'm so annoyed with what's going on.

Kolnik moran bombach is take them over phillips derlago etc everyday. We never struggled for goals with that team, the struggle I remember was with miika being injured quite abit .
Remember a few occasions we played Edinburgh Dundee etc and scored 7 or 8

It's looking increasingly likely that we won't win a domestic trophy again this season, last time we did was 15/16. Alot of people say the league has improved and it got me thinking, how many of this year's team are actually better than the 15/16 team? Assume you mean 14/15? We won the cup and playoffs in 15/16. It was 15/16, mosey was part of that team, played for the icehogs for 16/17 and came back for 17/18

Our season is over! I'd much prefer them to save the cash and use it on top of next year's budget. All's they are doing is spending abit now ready for season tickets go on sale. Year in , year out, same old poo poo Trying desperately to save Neilsons job. We're two D men down and the idiot will probably go and sign a forward ! 2 d-men down and he leaves another one out by choice, he doesn't deserve his job saving. I'd pay for his flight back to Canada right now

First Steelers v Panthers league game I'll have missed in the 4 years I've spent following Panthers, normally leave work Friday buzzing for it. Can't say I've batted an eye lid over this. Last year's team was an absolute disaster, but I'd have taken that one over this. That team just didn't have the talent for the most part. This year's have it in abundance but have no heart. If I hadn't got a season ticket I wouldn't be buying home tickets either . We need change and fast

Bloody good win that. Solid goaltending from Galbraith and despite getting kicked out of every faceoff (bar the one to start the game) a solid debut from Pither. Good performances all round, however I ask these questions: (1) What has happened to Zack Phillips - really struggled to control the puck tonight (2) Am I the only one hoping Farmer returns to being "a bit of an idiot". e.g. being a bit "naughty", giving goalies a nudge, etc. 1- other than last night Phillips has looked really good all year but rarely put his great hands to good use. 2- I'd like to see farmer being the agitator again but the past 2 seasons he's had to be putting up more points because we've not had out and out goal scorers.

Is the weekend worth going to as a neutral? I've never been before and said this year I would go, but I'm not banking on Panthers being there. What's other people's personal experience of it ?

"Could be". It's the usual thing with Neilson, start well, get to this time of the year and begin to stink, when that gets too bad bring in a couple of ringers to salvage something. A couple of those young pumas could put on a better performance than we've just witnessed

There is also alot of potential in the team, mokshantsev, phillips, bussieries, sauve, all have huge potential, they need to realise it but also Corey needs to get the best out of them. Phillips has outrageous hands and playmaking skills but he doesn't get put on a line with a out and out sniper to utilise them. We've got derlago and perlini with obvious goal scoring ability, phillips is never with them. Doenst make sense. Dreading the 2 games against Sheffield. So do you think the issue is with the players or the coach? To me , coach, he signs the players, he picks the lines, he is supposed to motivate them. If the players aren't naturally good enough, that's Corey fault for signing them, if they aren't up for the game, that also comes down to him, he'd have been gone last season if it was my decision

9 shots We are an average team with average players. 3 or 4 need to go asap. The next 4 games could be painful I agree. We are an average team, mainly just average cv’s and that’s what we’re seeing now on the ice. The comment i was told before the season even started that “we have signed a 3rd place team” looks about spot on. Then again,i guess it’s an improvement on our usual 4th or 5th place ! There is also alot of potential in the team, mokshantsev, phillips, bussieries, sauve, all have huge potential, they need to realise it but also Corey needs to get the best out of them. We had this on 11th November, I set a page up on the Facebook page, a lot of us were issued with tickets after the machine said out of use . We called the number and no one answered but we left a voicemail then came back to tickets on the cars, it happens regularly even tho they say the machines are emptied twice daily it’s a load of rubbish, it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s done on purpose to make some money as some people are bound to pay. I have done a lot of research on CPS Midlands, DO NOT even respond to their ticket as you are just giving them your details and confirming you were there. Just ignore everything and tell them you’ll see them In court. They have to apply to DVLA for you details which costs them so do not give them your name. Look up our posts on FB a group of us are keeping in touch and we’ll see them in court. Join the Motorpoint car park it’s well lit there is security on there plenty of room and no potholes. and it’s £4 only 3 or 4 mins walk from the arena. Thanks , did to send them an apeal letter?

9 shots We are an average team with average players. 3 or 4 need to go asap. The next 4 games could be painful Its easy saying that but who do you get instead. Its not that easy. Just look how long it took steelers to get a replacement for Ronnberg. Its only worth replacing people if you can find someone better. I'm quite happy for Shalla and Bussieres to be replaced but not by another Grimaldi, Hardy, Sarkanis etc. How does that make us any better. Granted it takes time but it should be a coaches job to be looking what's available constantly, who knows when any player could have a season ending injury. Bussieries I hope stays, has big potential and plays a really good power forward gritty game but adds offensively. I don't see what mosey brings other than speed, can't pass, can't shoot, I wouldn't bat an eye if him or shalla left. People talk about him playing D etc but lindhagen is so much more versatile. He has the speed, plays better on D and can play centre and win face offs. We've got too many plays that are average joes in more than one position but not enough that specialise in one area.

It's outrageous to be honest, a guy in the car park even rang them and was told it was fine to park there still and they wouldn't send out a parking officer, I left a note in the dash explaining that the machine wouldn't work, What time etc and I was willing to pay the ÂŁ4 like I normally do, the jobsworth put the ticket over my note. Merry Christmas to you too.

Jeff brown- offers nothing other than a couple of hits and the odd scrap, waste of a uni deal! Bussieries plays that role and offers more offensively.
Mosey-sorry to say he hasn't looked the same player that left us, speedboat no driver, lindhagen is far more versatile if that's what he was signed for, points not worthy of a top 6 player.
Josh shalla- bar last night hasn't looked interested since the nhl and has barely put up a point.
Sauve- attitude stinks, losing count of how many stupid penalties he takes, amazing player when his attitude is right.
If it was me, mosey and shalla would both be gone and replaced with a kolnik and ling type player.its alright having a young squad but we really miss the experienced players and the reliability they bring.

These players beat the likes of Turku and bern! There's no energy, no urgency, no motivation. Who's job is that? COREY NEILSON! earn your bloody money Corey. Year in year out same problem, decent quality players that he can't motivate, the games evolved, moved forward , and it doesn't seem like Corey has

Huge weekend, especially after last weekend, 4 points would be absolutely massive, I'd probably take 3 right now but hopeful of 4, it's going to be tough that's for sure. Looking forward to my first trip to the storm shelter this season.
