Huge weekend, especially after last weekend, 4 points would be absolutely massive, I'd probably take 3 right now but hopeful of 4, it's going to be tough that's for sure. Looking forward to my first trip to the storm shelter this season.

Can’t believe no one has posted on this thread yet. A very tough match, Manchester at home are a very good team and have given us a run for our money every time we have visited this season, I’m hoping for a win obviously but wouldn’t surprise me if we lost. 5-4 Panthers tho’

I’d be happy with a point from this, tough place to go, it’s going to be a battle, probably be a few scraps thrown in there, it’s got the potential to be a good game!

Got to be gunning for a win tonight but also having an eye on tomorrow!! Tough weekend this one. 4 points is the aim and that’s what we should only be happy with

very end to end and we only scored on a 5 on 3. Garnett has made some fine saves but we should be a couple more goals to the good we just haven't got that killer finish. if we loose concentraction Storm will be back in this and it could go anyway.

Lazy penalty gives them the OT PP and we get punished. Regulation win tomorrow is a must

And YET ANOTHER penalty from Sauve at a crucial time costs us.......that guy is becoming a bloody liability in the penalty box !
Better win tomorrow or this Panthers team needs a shake up !!!!

I've lost count of the number of dumb/lazy/costly penalties #21 has given up near the end of games.

For me the import forwards need to take a long hard look at themselves. Conceding two, with one in overtime is not a bad performance defensively. Our problem is a toothless attack. Slow and laboured, with most play in the opposition’s end lacking any direction. They seem to move the puck around more in hope than with a sense of purpose. Finally, Clarkie looks like a spent force. Sad, he’s been a great servant to this club but this looks like a season too far.

Poor show indeed.

The defence made 2 mistakes all night (Billingsley coughing up the puck for their first, Sauve penalty in OT) and we got punished. Garnett was excellent. But you can’t win many games scoring one goal. The forwards needed to put that to bed earlier. We had complete control of that game for big chunks. But we’ve got a point and we’re not exactly lagging behind other teams.
We were bound to hit a bit of patchy form at some point. We’ve got a chance to rectify that tonight and build momentum over the festive period. Let’s not get too down on it all yet.

And YET ANOTHER penalty from Sauve at a crucial time costs us.......that guy is becoming a bloody liability in the penalty box ! According to my stats... League wise, Sauve has taken 2 minors that the PP has been scored on all year until last night. Both were in the 14 October Sheffield game. The Panther with the most "scored on" minors this year is Steve Lee with 3. Last night was only the second time Panthers have lost to a GWG that was a PPG all season.

Finally, Clarkie looks like a spent force. Sad, he’s been a great servant to this club but this looks like a season too far. Sadly, the stats back this up. No even strength goals this year, only 2 PP goals in his 22 games (one 5 on 4, one 5 on 3, both at home) and a current team worst -9 (to go with his second worst -12 last year (behind "Mr Consistent" Sertich at -15)).

Too many forwards in this team not putting enough on the scoresheet this season. Shalla Brown Mosey Lindhagen Clarke Lachowicz
All need lessons in putting the puck in the net. Thank god Perlini knows where the goal is !
