Its like groundhog day every time he posts - its so predictable and boring. That maybe so but maybe the reason he posts are so annoying for people is because they are uncomfortable truths. If the fans knew the extent of the finances I believe many would be shocked and horrified. All of them could find this out but choose not to look because they don't want to know. The same reason Iginla's posts are difficult for people to read.

Regarding the degree i'm not sure why it found it's way into this part of the forum in the 1st place. Because I posted it here. And the reason that I did that is because - whether some people like it or not - Corey Neilson is a massive part of recent Panthers history, and quite frankly deserves some recognition for that. I'd say that CN has received (rightly so) a lot of recognition for his work at Panthers both as a player and coach. Why does it always have to be extremes? Name me one person who has stated that they "think everything is perfect" with the Panthers? Not a single one, as I recall. Way of the world and especially on line / social media I guess. People exagerate their point sometimes to try and "win" the arguement / discussion. There are those who think that some things are wrong, and those who think that there's a lot wrong. Some of them post those feelings, some don't. Some people - like myself - think that there are some things they get wrong and that there are some things that they get right... and we say so - both ways. That depends if said other side is blinkered - bordering on rabid - hatred of the management/ownership of the club, a refusal to accept that they can do anything right, and the incessant hounding of those who appear to disagree with that. It gets a bit wearing after a while... I think the thing with Iginla is that he posts a lot of things that fans do not want to read / know about. Uncomfortable truths if you will.

I dont know who Iginla is and if he does know about the inner workings of the club or not. If he does it's interesting that his views on the club are what they are.
Regarding the degree i'm not sure why it found it's way into this part of the forum in the 1st place. I certainly have no problem with CN getting one.
Good luck to the bloke in the future.
If people want to think everything is perfect with the Management / Ownership of the club then that's up to them. Surely it doesn't hurt to have the other side of the coin on an internet forum?

You've got Guptill, Rheault, Henderson and Doty all on the wrong wings. With him outlining who will play at centre, I can’t see it being anything other than this: GUPTILL - HURTUBISE - RHEAULT KOVACS - PITHER - BIGGS FARMER - PERLINI - DOTY HENDERSON - LACHOWICZ - BETTERIDGE Makes sense in a lot of ways. Round pegs in round holes. A Power Forward on each line. Guess the odd one out would be Henderson who with almost 400 AHL games has a very good CV to be a 4th line wing in the EIHL.

I know that lines have been discussed on various different threads but just listening to Rich's latest interview he has stated a few things that might suggest that everyone has the lines and positions of the players all wrong so thought it might deserve its own thread. He has stated that Hurtubise, Pither, Perlini and Lacho are the centres so might we look more like this GUPTILL - HURTUBISE - RHEAULT KOVACS - PITHER - BIGGS FARMER - PERLINI - DOTY HENDERSON - LACHOWICZ - BETTERIDGE It seems that from Chermonaz interview he has his centres fixed however not sure he will go with Kovacs and Pither on same line as they will probably be our 2 most creative players. For what it worth my guess would be Kovacs - Hurtubise - Guptil Rheault - Pither - Biggs Farmer - Perlini - Henderson Doty - Lacho - Betteridge Time will tell You've got Guptill, Rheault, Henderson and Doty all on the wrong wings.

Cardiff try harder to win. Simple as. I'm not talking about players or coaches when I say that. I'm sure everyone tries their best to win in Pro sport.
Panthers priority is profits. Cardiffs is winning.

Disagree with some of what Ig says but surely he’s allowed an opinion? Pretty clear and she even partially admitted that she only came on here to attack Iginla.
On topic, I’m not bothered either way about the degree but CN always seemed a decent human being to me and glad to see he is fixed up with a new gig.

Steelers sign Aaron Johnson. Veteran D man from DEL. Cracking CV with lots of AHL & NHL games.

Good stuff! For me this signing ticks a lot of boxes and fills a few gaps in the roster.
I wonder if he might split the creativity of Hurtubise, Pither and Kovacs across the 1st 3 lines. Or as others have suggested loads the top 2 lines and go with a heavy 3rd line. Will be interesting to see and like many I’m hoping for settled lines.
The key to our season could be Garnett. He was unbelievable in the CHL. My last game of last season was his shutout after the Q&A. If he can get anywhere near that level with a solid looking D in front of him we could be in business. Especially if Rich keeps them motivated and playing hard week in week out.

Chernomaz close to “final” signing.
No spare import by the sounds of it.

Are you three suddenly incapable of reading plain English? Let me make it totally plain. Any more of this personal rubbish and it's out with the banhammer. Is that plain enough for you? Perhaps they need a website of their own. Its amazing how before a puck is dropped opinions are formed. People are allowed to express an opinion. If you only want to talk to people with the same opinion as you then stick to Twitter.

The more I think about our roster the more worried I get that the new coach has totally misjudged the league. Obviously hope I’m wrong and that we win the league. can you only play one style of hockey in the EIHL then? No, not at all. Many ways to skin a cat and all that. The roster just looks very one dimensional to me. Is that ok?

Good move.
We should carry a spare. No question. Ideally an all rounder who can cover knocks on Forward or D.

End of the day as always it’s peoples own decision whether they go or not. Same as POFW. For me personally if they had done £50 for all 5 for an adult and £25 for all 5 for a child then me and the boy would have gone to them all. As it is we won’t be going to any. Why? I don’t think the prices represent good value for pre season friendlies.

This bloke looks decent to me. I'm hoping we have 2 top line wingers and a left shot offensive D left to sign. Oh and a spare who can play forward and D wouldn't go a miss.
