I don't think there is much interest in the u20s league either in Nottingham but there is obvious interest just up the M1 but unlikely to happen any time soon, certainly not during the next season. Not true at all U20 leagueThe biggest talking point is why have the Panthers and Nottingham IHC both registered an interest. Obviously links between the clubs are not as good as they could be. |

Purely down to the fact that when we went to Philly a few years ago we got a personal tour of the arena by legend Bob Kelly, went behind the scenes at a training session and got to meet the team.

If Panthers are going to play 4 lines, what will the consequences be, last season Panthers only just managed to put 3 lines out in some games At least we'll have the injury cover that people crave for injury crisis' I doubt it. People will want cover for 4 lines..... |

Can't see an issue if we are runnin 4 lines. That's 8 defencemen, with the probability of Mosey playing as a forward.

waste of a good up and coming hungry for improvement youngster as a back up though... no slur intended as this applies to all backups at Panthers but I hope they don't see a minutes ice time.. The key for the coming year for me is to try and get our identity back as the hard hitting, forechecking, offensively minded team This. Also, really don't understand why we don't get official 2-way deals going with some EPL Brits. The likes of Chamberlain & Hook (at MK) for example. Its the EPL clubs who do now want their players released. With Pete Russell taking over at MK, it may well be that he is more in favour of releasing his players to get Elite League experience. |

Put it another way. If Corey was behind the bench at Hull,Edinburgh,Dundee,Fife,Hull or Braehead,would he have won anything......NO. You could have put Scotty Bowman behind the benches at those clubs and he wouldn't have won anything. I don't know if Corey ran over your cat, but your continual criticism of him goes way beyond you wanting Panthers to win everything. |

I was speaking to one of the British players out at the World Championships... and he had nothing but praise for Corey's work with bringing British players through to EIHL standard. Said that there's a lot Corey does that we never see. Given the source, that's a pretty decent recommendation. I know some people on here don't give a toss about British players, only care about imports - well, tough titties because there are a lot of us who do care. Counts as a plus for Corey in my book. Boxill was singing his praises in an Evening Post article recently for his work with the young British players. |
