Think you'll have an easy game tomorrow, Clan being short benched is nothing short of a disgrace.
Feel sorry for the coach and the players, perhaps if we had got Coach Tripp in sooner we could have had more bodies.

It'll probably just have the Panthers logo on the team selection screen, well that's if the Beta was anything to go by. I'd fully expect to see the jerseys in the game looking like they do in real life such as having the country flags in the collar area. That reminds me, I've not seen any mention of the Top Scorer jersey, wonder if that's going to be in the game.

Yeah it states in the article that players are included.
Can't wait to lead a Brit team to European glory, just because of the jerseys I might do it with the Panthers.

They've covered all the EIHL teams in the CHL so far so I don't see why they'd stop.

Premier Sports will probably cover the games, you can't watch on the CHL site due to geoblocking.

Out of the 2, I like the away one better. I also like the new look to the placement of the flag, it's a lot more clearer on these ones compared with before.
For example sake the Belarus flag was just the Red & Green but there was no pattern like there is on the actual Belarus flag. Now there is the design on the 2017/18 jerseys.

Pretty sure I remember the CHL saying teams were only allowed to use players that were going to be with the team for a full season and not just temporarily for CHL games.

Well if that 3rd place playoff game between Braehead and Fife is anything to go by then Canadians sure do drink their fair share.

I wished he'd come up to Braehead for another Q&A.

If they had a solid financially sound plan then I'd want to see Hull come to the league.

Yes, that's right. They had those TV timeouts at Braehead.
Games seemed to go quicker on the European nights compared to normal league games although I can't speak for Panthers or Steelers fans in that regard.

I'd have thought though that previous CHL participation would have played a part in the ranking process.

Find it sad how Cardiff are ranked higher but haven't been in the CHL before, I wonder if there's any chance a 4th Pot team could move up, meaning that, just say for hypothetical situation Cardiff could play the French team.

I count from their roster they have 5 imports in the team, we had 2 in Brooks and Mosey.
The Asia League Ice Hockey does allow for a mass influx of imports although I can't find anything regarding numbers.

I think that's what has improved the national setup.
It's all well and good saying we need more Brits and less imports but how could our national team improve if they were playing average Brits on a weekly basis.
The answer is by bringing in higher quality imports which helps raise the development of the Brits which then helps the national team and if a few Imports are qualified then it's a bonus as the imports on the GB squad can help the younger guys develop to become better players. GB's results have improved dramatically and who can say where we'll end up after next years 1A tournament, can we gain a top 2 finish and be in with the big boys in 2019, time will tell.

Any team is beatable with the right attitude.
Japan do have a lot of young hungry players and started the tournament well. We are not Netherlands or Croatia, we are Great Britain, we'll give them a game.

Apart from Estonia and Japan, no including us because of the point I'm about to make.
All the rest of the teams have at least 1 player based in the UK, Croatia have Sertich and Brine, Lithuania have 2 players from Hull Pirates and Peterborough Phantoms respectively, Netherlands have Kevin Bruijsten from Dundee Stars who stood out for me last season.
I reckon we can win the group but will have to be at our very best to get promotion.

Disappointed with that RE Clan
They tried to get us a European team last season but whoever it was pulled out. Just hope we don't have a boring pre season like last season.

Bristol also has a Basketball team playing in the top flight BBL so there's that to contend with.

Depends on who we get in as coach, if we got Adams or Adey then I'd like to see what they could do with a Braehead team. Adams won the league with the Steelers then they get rid of him and bring in Thommo.
Not too sure who I want in though, wouldn't want another rookie player/coach after the Season 3 debacle with Jordan Krestanovich. Some fans clamouring for Matt Keith and another wants Vandermeer off Belfast, not for me. I'd rather have a coach that knows the league and has experience of winning the big trophies in this country.

Think that would be a terrible idea just because it'd be another meaningless game to replace the 3rd place playoff.
The only game that really matters in the weekend is the final itself, besides if teams were good enough then they'd qualify for the weekend anyway, no sense in putting other teams in for the sake of it.
