Interesting that the DOPS video says there was no injury on the McIver hit, yet Dimmen left the game injured, and didn't play the following night. I suppose they have to be certain that the injury Dimmen sustained was directly a result of that hit, before they can take it into account. Did Dimmen play another shift after the hit? I seem to recall he was on the bench for a few more minutes before he went down the tunnel. He played another shift which was approximately 15 seconds long after sitting on the bench for a few minutes and after going end to end he looked dazed and rushed back to the bench and down the tunnel.

Knowing our luck, yes most likely! We need to sign 2 and hope we sign a forward and D man but realistically with how we seem to react with replacement I can only see a D man being signed.

D man is the priority imo with Dimmen most likely out for another spell. I know Ling is irreplaceable but we have depth going forwards so can see why D is the priority. He did mention a chance of two signings but I can't see it happening in a week.

They can't moan about that goal, at least it actually went over the line!

Hayes would be a valuable player but the whole bad attitude puts a lot of people off. He's asked to leave both clubs so mahbe wouldn't want to come back to the UK?

cant believe people are mentioning Ling Hayes and Caria in the same sentance! To replace ling we need someone with a similar resume to Kolnik and Janssen! Ling is irreplaceable but with 7 days until deadline and this far into the season we can't afford to be too picky otherwise we will miss out on a replacement all together. Read in the Post that Corey has said Black has given him some additional funding and he is looking to sign at least 1 player, priority being a D man as we have depth going forwards already but possibly could be 2 signings. Agree with other about pushing Mosey forward and bring in 2 D men, a more physical stay at home and a 2 way player.

2-2 after 2, we look a bit meh and Dundee don't look much better imo, nice SHG from Moran though to get us back tied.

2-1 Clan at the end of the first. Rather even game with Panthers having the edge
Thompson is having a mare, caused their first goal by getting in the way of the Panthers player then continued to interrupt plays because of his terrible positioning and some confusing calls and blatant missed calls. Rather chippy after Cam threw a massive clean hit.

No Wiikman or Kolnik for us so Madolora starting and Holt will be starting for Clan.

We haven't got a game next weekend.......surely with the Olympic break coming up nobody went home this weekend ! Yeah that's what I thought, doesn't really make sense seeing as they have the week off. Just saw it and thought I'd share it.

Maybe cause of the import limit? But surely for that you'd just scratch one of the import netties instead of an out skater unless of course it is an injury.
Edit: Just seen this, obviously no idea if it's accurate just speculation.

Think the main factor is how often he is on the ice. When he gets enough ice time he is one of the most effective players off the puck and obviously gives us the intimidation we have been missing. If he is willing to stay and is happy here why not sign him up, knowing that he is enjoying it here we shouldn't see him slack.

Latest OS mentioning the interview with Strachs mentions that Wiikman is day-to-day and will be a game time decision tomorrow night.

Its exactly the attitudes displayed within this thread that are preventing the game from growing. You only sing when told to, you only cheer when something goes your way, and you're the most fickle set of fans in the EIHL. Deplorable behaviour you see as the norm. Disgraceful. Do you have anything to say that's actually relative to this thread? Like comments on the game, rather than coming out with these ridiculous comments. Think it's great that there the forum members aren't restricted to Panthers fans only and some of those posters post some great comments and the occasional banter but these kind of posts are annoying as there is no need for it in a game thread or any thread to be honest. If anything, these comments make you sound just as bad as you claim the Panthers fanbase is.

2-2 end of the 2nd, both teams looked average for that period and Darnell up to his usual.

Don't think we should drop Madolora coming off of a shutout for a cold Miika. Like others have said I think the game should be split to give Miika some game time before Wednesday but without risking the whole game.

We've made hard work of it and made next week a lot bigger game. Terrible 2 periods giving up a 4 goal lead..

Well the usual Panthers 2nd period there, could do with another couple of goals in the 3rd to take a decent lead up there next week.
