Boycott talk aside, the reasons I'll won't be going are:
* Too expensive for a Challenge Cup Quarter Final (Tickets should really be £10 Adult & £5 Child) * There won't be a conclusion (Maybe it just be a 1 off game, May make teams want to finish in the top 2 in their groups) * Got a feeling that it won't be the most hi-octane game
However I do want us to win and advance, but I've got a feeling that it'll just tire the players more and risk more injuries. Really this competition should be over by now.

Steelers announced that their CC 1/4 final home leg tickets are £10 each (hot off the press as DS said).

I suspect this one just might be a Panthers win, but as long as it's not to the levels of the 8-0 win a couple of years back I think Clan will have a decent chance coming out with a 2 goal deficit or less.

No idea why they haven't discounted the prices for this match... Surely you would think by now, somebody in the Panthers management would have some business knowledge. Discount the tickets by 50% TO ALL fans and you'll maybe get 50% more attendance than before which is better than the current low attendance that will happen on Wednesday. However, using an NUS, I'll be there for £13 anyway. If we play like we did tonight, there's no doubt we will win, Clan won't be giving 100% on this night, but they'll make sure they don't lose by too many goals.

Yes - but their game is at Ice Shuff - what if Panthers suddenly said they would be playing on the other rink as ticket sales are so bad - also I thought that we had an early-bird deal on tickets

Just a thought based in trying to win rather than anything else and something I don't think that the Panthers management even considers for a moment.

Would love us to take a lead back to Braehead, IF we don't then a 2 goal deficit will do.

We need a decent lead because we wont be travelling up until the day (no change there then) & if the bus has a mishap like last time they wont be arriving until an hour before face off, oh & then there's the 'bus legs' to deal with.

Looking forward to this one. With the league being a distant dream, there are two trophies that we can realistically win.
This one will take us in to Europe as well, so lets hope for a good performance tonight.

The Clan bottled it at home against us a few weeks back when we were a very poor side. So long as we take a defendable lead up to Breahead it will be fine.

Ah, I didnt know it had changed.
I guess that makes sense now as to why Coventry qualified.

Either Clan are terrible or we have stepped up a lot, maybe even both but we look a lot better. 4-0 up with less than minute to go in the 1st.

Well the usual Panthers 2nd period there, could do with another couple of goals in the 3rd to take a decent lead up there next week.

We've made hard work of it and made next week a lot bigger game. Terrible 2 periods giving up a 4 goal lead..

We won but throwing away a 4 goal lead it almost feels like a loss.

Shocking. Get into a really good position and just throw it away. Wonder how much difference some cover on defence would have made?
