Obviously we need a philosophy change so the players that should be resigned are:
K-Wall, Benedict, Wild, Landry, Jacina, Doucet, Lee, Farmer and Clarke (British goal scorers are rare)
I'm fed up of opposing players just waltzing into our zone without being challenged and we need a Tough Guy (The league didn't protect the players which I believe was the reason we didn't get one this season, so the first person we should be offering a contract to would be:
Matt Nickerson - The premier Tough Guy, controls the game and no attacking skater would relish going up against him.
I would also go for an irritant, a player who can get under the skin of opposing players and draw penalties, so I would go for:
Tanaka or Lloyd - I know that we are not fond of those two however they do their job well.
We need a clinical goal scorer therefore let's go after:
Tendler Jarolin Fulton (Fife player)

Cannot disagree with most of that - however unless the stripies start doing their job properly and not favouring one team over another we will only suffer for having a tough guy on - he would only have to breath on an opponent to get a ban - Farmer is an irritant but needs to bulk up so he can handle the consequences - Think you have also missed out Boxer who has excelled this season in many ways. - Would like Salters back but again he cannot win on his own as has been proven at Clan

Would be mad not to take Lacho back, just needs good support which he sadly missed this year.

I've heard there's a bloke who's about 40 playing in the AHL. Likes water-skiing, winding people up and scoring goals? He might be quite good

no lets not sign any import from another club. It never works, the player gets what he wants (a better pay packet and it looks good on his CV), but coming to a 'bigger' club means they don't have to prove themselves. There must be better players out there instead of recycling the same old same old.

Out of this seasons squad, I personally would keep the following:
K-Wall, Green,
Mosey, Wild, Lee, Oakford,
Clarke (A), Lacho, Farmer (A), Benedict (C) , Doucet, Boxill, Graham (A)
The players I would like to see coming back is some of the class 2013-14 with J. Fox & B.Wilson to win the League one more time for the great late Wink Wilson. Linger, Francis, and players like Alex Penner as enforcer, Robinson (Full Season) was just finding his feet before he left. I've liked Tendler from Hull and Jarolin from Edinburgh Tendler to team up with Lacho and Doucet would make a flying line on the PP and PK and Jarolin as prolific goal scorer.
I would also try and get either European players for the reason they wouldn't need visa's to come over or some imports to fill the gaps left. One thing is for certain is that Only time will tell and the rebuild begins

Oakford???
Sorry not for me, too slow, indecisive and gets 'the rabbit in headlights look' too often for my liking
Add him to the long list of Brits tried but found wanting

Graham??? Really?
Not so sure about Benedict either tbh (much as it pains me to say it) and I would add Jacina and Parent.

Some of our Brits and try to tempt a few upgrades and from the imports just Wild and Doucet. Kwall has been great but too much of a risk which could (has?) end in disaster.

I personally think Oakford has improved as the season has gone on. I wouldn't gas him just yet.
Re-sign all the Brits (as standard) and add Betteridge.
Also sign a Brit d-man and a couple of Brit forwards on proper 2-way deals with EPL clubs.
From the imports, I'd definitely keep Doucet, Wild, Mosey and Benedict. If K-wall is fit I'd also re-sign him. So that leaves a further 7 imports plus a dual national to sign (or 8 imports if K-wall or Benny get a GB passport).
The new team HAS to protect their goalie. I don't think I've ever seen a team that apathetic to their goalie being ran than ours.
I don't expect a goon squad, I'm just sick of other teams taking liberties all the damn time.
The best hockey teams have pace, skill AND meanness.

I would keep all the Brits, although Clarkie must be a worry seems to get injured every season.
Kwall, ( please God) if not Unice perhaps, Doucet, Bennie, Wild, also i think we are missing Myers from the brit bunch but not easy to get him back. I don't think Ling is an option unless player coach, must admit i like that Tanaka lad with the Blaze.

Tendler was a healthy scratch for Coventry in the POQF against us! and Bruce Graham no unless with sign linger

I see most now want a tough guy but when I said at the start of the season this team was embarrassing with how soft it was and it wouldn't work I was an idiot. If the Panthers coach whoever he may be next season came out and said he's not signing a enforcer 99% of the posters on here would aggree and claim a tough guy is a waste of a import slot.

Because most people on here think when you say "tough guy" you mean a Sean McMorrow as opposed to a Lepine, Keefe, Nickerson etc.

We don't need an enforcer, just a Salters type power forward and a tough rugged Dman like a Tyson Marsh or Lepine/Beckett. What we do need, are a top goalie, quality first line centre and a stud Dman who are the three best players in the league and the envy of every other EIHL team.
That is what Panthers should have every season, there is no reason whatsoever why we shouldn't have them.

So what does Mosey come under? Dual? He holds a British passport as well as an American one so he should do.
