To me, this is quite interesting as we will see if this team can defend a one goal lead away from home in a 2 leg tie.

Interesting that Brian Schmidt said in the evening post that Braehead have the advantage of the 2nd leg at home.
Mmmm, nice to see a player admit what some people can't see !

Got absolutely no idea.... Feel exactly the same as this. World beaters one day and abysmal on the next... In true typical Panthers tradition it'll all depend on which one of our schizophrenic team turns up on the night. I do think that the game will be won or lost in the first period. If we can get a goal or 2 and keep it tight at the back (and we're more than capable of that) then I think we should be alright. But concede a goal early (and we're more that capable of that) and I think it'll be Braehead's game comfortably. I literally don't know what to expect in this game.

Clan to score twice in the opening 5 minutes.
Uphill task from there...

I think we'll win, perhaps a draw on the night to hold up our goal lead.

Fingers crossed for this one. Taking a four goal lead up there would have been better but the Clan know how to collapse when they are in front too so hopefully we have a good night and they don't.
Having a fans quiz night the night before and then driving up on the day of the game I think it's some of the fans rather than the management that want to win this one.

50/50. Well capable of winning it but equally capable of losing. Stick my neck out 4 - 2 Panthers.

Only 25 seats shown as sold in the away section !! Was looking to go to this but I dont fancy driving that far on my own & the trains are all disrupted now due to a brige collapse on the way up.

Only 25 seats shown as sold in the away section !! That's good considering its a Wednesday night! Most people wont be able to drive up after work,it's hardly just up the road sadly.

Quiz the night before and driving up on the day. Sheer stupidity. Tough enough having a measly one goal lead but out the night before, along with the possibility of alcohol consumption, followed by a five to six hour drive on match day. Why hasn't the quiz been rescheduled? Or do I already know the answer to that question?

I sincerely hope I am wrong but after having a commanding lead in the first leg I feel the horse may now have bolted. I cannot see anything other than a comfortable Clan win.

Who would you play in goal though,Madalora or Wiikman ! Depends how rusty Miika is, Shane's okay as long as the D play tight, he has let a couple of howlers in but that happens in all sport. What do you think. I was surprised to see him in Manchester I wonder if he asked or was told.

Miika is going to be rusty against whoever he plays. I would have given him some time at Manchester.

Who would you play in goal though,Madalora or Wiikman ! Genuinely difficult question. Wiikman isn't match fit and will likely be a bit "rusty", but he is the better goalie when fully fit by far IMO. Do the club think that the one goal lead will be enough? Do the club still truly believe we're in the title race? I think those questions will be huge... If they believe the one goal lead won't be enough and they do believe they're in the title race then I would play Wiikman, get him some game time before the big match on Saturday. If they think a one goal lead will be enough and we're out of the title race I'd play the "hot" goalie and stick Madalora in, as this could be the best chance of silverware at the end of the season. Any other choice of answers lead to the "it doesn't really matter" card for me. If Wiikman is 100% fully fit and ready to go, I'd play him. If he is 99.9% fully fit I'd play Madalora... I think Wiikman is more valuable to the team in the long run, we need him fit.
