Just seen on Twitter that there's a 4 man officiating system for tonight, still don't know who the two refs are though.
Edit: Refs are Smith and Pering..

I think it'll be fairly close, couple either way. Who's the ref? It seems to always be Darnell reffing when we play them so can imagine he will be tonight.

Abysmal 2nd period performance but finished it off well in the 3rd. Mosey and Janssen were the standouts for me, Mosey's 2nd made good work of Valabik's mistake. Impressed with both Quick and MacDonald, especially Quick as he is great on the puck, excels on the transition and is a great skater.

2-1 Panthers end of the 1st, Cam with a big night so far with 2 assists and a few nice hits. The Janssen, Mac and Lawrence line have been brilliant in that period so most likely see that split up by Corey..

Not on this thread, I'm sure he'll start on Sunday's game thread saying that if we win against Coventry we'll still be in it for good.. Well - people seem to forget that Cardiff & Steelers have to play each other twice and they'll both drop points against teams lower in the league... Not to mention we still have to play them both twice. Yes, tonight was poor, but you can't expect us to win every game? It's not over yet, we're not out of it. We are out of it.. I don't expect us to win every game but we NEED to win every game if we were to win but we are too inconsistent to get a good enough run going so the league is gone as we can't be relying on other teams results constantly when we play poor. Hopefully we'll lift at least one trophy but it won't be the league.

Latest OS mentions Dimmen was hurt in Coventry and that's why he was scratched.

Panthers banter has tweeted that Madolora is starting with Green back up and Dimmen scratched. Good decision on Dimmen I think, better to rest him than risk him but weird decision on starting Mads instead of Miika imo as thought Miika looked solid on Wednesday and he is the 'hot' goalie. Wednesday was his return from injury too, maybe they thought 2 in 3 nights was chancing the arm a bit? Maybe, also remembered that maybe Mads started as he was in when we won on penalties last time we were in Belfast.

Lawrence has been signed for the rest of the season, it was on the OS last week, they sold his sponsorship package well over a month ago which hinted he was here now. Ahh I missed that.

I think Nickerson is done for the season as a lot of Giants fans believed Vandermeer is his replacement. I think the scratched out skater will depend on the team we are playing, Belfast can be quite physical so can see Janssen playing personally. I like Lawrence as a player, my only real logic behind him being the scratch is that he was brought in for injury cover and I'm sure he still isn't on a proper contract? so it would seem as if he'd scratched and used as precautionary injury cover.

Yeah, Janssen gives us the protection and intimidation but Lawrence has a great shot when he gets the chance to rip it and like you said Yotes, gives us a chance of a goal. A tough decision for CN but we'll see tomorrow what he goes with.

Another massive away game in which we really can't afford to come out with anything other than the 2 points. Quick and MacDonald are here now so assuming they will ice, it will be the first time we will have a full quota of imports on the ice.
For healthy scratches I'll guess Lawrence and Mads as I thought Miika did a good job last night and looks fit again so can see us starting him more often now.

1-1 end of the 2nd, pretty even game so far with us having the edge imo. Missed some golden chances we should of scored though.

Which import is going to sit out? We're one over now with Dimmen being back in the line up Can see it being Lawrence, he was here as injury cover so I guess we'll scratch him and he'll stay for injury cover just in case.

The guy has great pedigree, think this is a decent signing as it is what we need. Seen reports from people who have watched him in Austria and they said he was their top line shut down stay at home D man. Highly doubt he would of been at the same club in the top flight Austrian league if he wasn't a good D man, have to factor things in that we don't know maybe the sudden drop to rec level was due to personal reasons seeing as he has been working with his family business, for example, crisis in the business etc.?
I agree Quick is the higher quality signing but both signings have certainly strengthened our D. Can't write MacDonald off yet as he might end up being a great find like Mosey was, as EMB mentioned in an earlier post on a different thread.

They mention replacing Ling in the radio interview with Corey about MacDonald, it doesn't sound like we will be getting a replacement forward.

Left shot D man so what we've been 'looking' for, looks a little up and down on stats but can never tell with D men. Has decent CV but his fitness will be the main worry if he has only played 7 games in a senior league this season.
Looking through his past rosters he's played with some familiar faces from around the league, Moran when he was at Linz, Kwall, Stefan Meyer. Mathieu Roy, Tyler Plante, Riley Emmerson and everyone's favourite.. Joe Grimaldi.

Won't be Kurt Gogol who was mentioned in an earlier post as he has just signed for Colorado Eagles. Missed out on a decent looking player imo.
Concerning how short time there is left and still no news or mention of a signing(s). Just constant posts about Valentine's Day "passion".

I see on the latest edition of "checking it out" GM seems to think Panthers can't be accused of not covering injuries this season. Jesus.....get real man,you have been bloody hopeless at it !!!!!! Did they mention anything about signing two new players? Nope..

Had read somewhere in previous posts that you need two seasons in the league to be eligble.
So if he makes it through this season, should be eligble for April Worlds and beyond.
Do we have any duals already playing for GB?
If that is the case, then surely there are dual nationals in this league that can make the national team much better, I know some people may not like it (and I can certainly understand it) however we would certainly be improved if certain players were included (when eligible) such as:
Stewart, Mosey, Nickerson, Benedict, Keefe, Doucet , Roy and the list can certainly go on.
They'd all have to apply for a British passport to become an eligible dual national. Mosey already has a British one but needs to finish this season to become eligible.

www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=34812Rumoured to be leaving his club in the NLB and has been playing at NLA level this season and past few seasons. Left shot D man, playing at the level Neilson mentioned he was looking at couple of weeks back, could be possible?
