JS Aubin has left the Leafs and signed for Los Angeles, who now have 4 3rd string goalies on their books... Although he was absolutely dreadful for the Leafs last eyar & quit on the team, he was sensational down the stretch the season before when Toronto were battling for a play off spot.

LA have also promoted Dave Lewis to assistant coach.

Finnish UFA Tony Salmelainen is close to signing with the Leafs according to Finnish media reports.

Yotes (finally) re-sign Keith Ballard. From what I've read $4.5m over 2 seasons. Would've liked to see a longer deal but I guess he didn't want to sign for longer than that.

Toronto have signed UFA forward Tony Salmelainen to a one year, two way contract.

Forsberg is making his mind up about whether he will play again. He probably won't return until christmas, if at all.

Ottawa have locked up Mike Fisher for the next five years, although I think the contract is rather large & surprising.

Good player though.
