MP, i've also got my doubts about a change on the d happening although i just can't see how it can be avoided, everyone knows who im talking about when i say he's struggling to keep up, keeps making mistakes and the opposition know there going to get at least one PP out of him every game and quite probably more

I would have made the change when I felt that he was costing us games and I don't think that could be said to be true at any point so far this season. Lindsay was a truly terrible player in his own right (obvious to me and others from week one) where as RR has been made to look considerably worse than he is by having the misfortune of working behind a god awful defence; the idea that he's 'shipping goals' as a result of his own performance is a diversion: smoke and mirrors masking the real problem. Maybe the new guy will be head and shoulders above Rasto in more than just height but, while his signing may prove to be a good move, it's not the one I would have made as I don't believe that RR wasn't good enough. Like I say: not necessary. Obviously you didnt watch EL from game one to about game 13 then did you? You know that winning streak, the one that left us top of the league before we went to the CC. The very goaltender who performed very well at the start of the season. It was after the CC that it all went pair shaped for the guy and he lost all confidence in his own ability and that of the defence and started shipping goals. I think it's that kind of misreading of Evan Lindsay that led to him keeping his place on the roster for far too long. I did see those winning games at the start of the season and I know that we won them usually in spite of Lindsay and never once because of him. You're not seriously going to make a case for Lindsay as a decent netminder are you?

I wont join in any personal arguements as they are going round in circles but how Stancok and Pelletier are still in a job when Drouin and Rasto have gone is shocking. Im no Rasto fan but this again smells of money saving. We are still a D man down IMO as I would have liked to sign 5 Men so Pelletier (Very inexperienced when we signed him) and Danny Meyers dont have so much pressure on them yet we have totally bypassed the problems we have on D and replaced a forward and Netminder.
Again, not to say I would not replace Rasto or PC and if we are saving money torwards something then great but id still like to see a D man brought in to replace PC or a D man cut very soon
