Could be a good time to play the Steelers if they win the league on Wednesday night. 😁

Considering we pretty much need to win this game, I hope the Steelers are nursing a heavy hangover again.

Hopefully Sheffield will have clinched on Wednesday.
Based on recent performances against Sheffield makes me think that they can pull off a victory.
Then chances are reality will set in and Sheffield will be 3 up within 10 minutes.
Maybe playing without pressure might help as well as having at least 1 D-Man back

History tells us it's highly likely that we will lose this game. Not just because it's against Sheffield but also because we pretty much always lose a game where a shirt auction immediately follows a home game.
Hopefully I'm wrong and we can help delay Steelers winning the league for a tiny bit longer though.
Having said that a loss would mean lower shirt auction prices... errr no it won't.
I may just go to the shirt auction for a laugh. It could end up being far more entertaining than the game itself. Especially if Panthers end up getting hamnered..

Has anyone asked a player how easy it is to play a game in a non-standard shirt colour? I often wonder whether themed shirts just make their game more difficult.

Sheffield were completely outmuscled last night and pretty much forced to dump and chase all night (unsuccessfully) but I think the Panthers will struggle to defend like that and Sheffield will be looking to bounce back after some very stern words from Fox

Steelers didn’t just lose last night, they were destroyed 2 very good goals by Devils wiped out, the real score should have read Devils 6 Steelers 0, they also lost their fights. and believe me they were never in it. It was old time hockey last night, and Steelers couldn’t handle it one bit. We lead the league games v Steelers 3-2, great game if you were a Devils fan, and horrific if you weren’t we all know it’s a long journey home Whenyou have lost, they stayed in a hotel the night before, and believed they would be presented with the trophy last night at ours. So cool to hear all our fans singing we are number 2, we are number 2.

Appreciate you're a Devils fan and you always give a very balanced-definitely-not-biased-in-the-slightest judgement on games... but that first goal (the one where Greenfield spins around), in my opinion, was correctly ruled out. Haven't seen anything else of the game or the 2nd goal ruled out.

I thought the goal where Greenfield spun round should have been awarded a goal,it was his own fault. Greenfield stuck his stick handle out and the Steeler caught the stick and then Greenfield embellished the spin around. Still it didn’t matter in the end I suppose.

It would’ve been a struggle to get a win anyway due to the gulf between the teams but with the injuries we’re dealing with also being a factor it’s difficult to see anything other than a Steelers win.
However whilst it would be delaying the inevitable in terms of them wrapping up the title it would be amazing if we could conjure up a miracle and finally get a win over Steelers especially in a full building.

Could be a good one. We know they have the quality that if they click they'll win, but they are clearly feeling it a bit as the title gets close. We are also playing in desperate times so, as seen last time out we can give them a game. I think it needs Pare to wake up again. He'd been looking pretty good, but felt he went quite the last 2 or 3 games. Could do with him getting under the skin of a few of their players.

If any team let the Steelers play their game, then they are going to be in trouble, you have to play a physical upbeat game and knock them out of their stride, they don’t like to be hit.

No, they never do. Carl Neill was described as "picking up a knock" against Cardiff, but that was 4 games ago.
Neilson took a puck to his hand in warmup or something I think (?), so I guess that broke something.
No idea on the other two.

Look at Ollie,1st Jan they suggested he may be back for 6th Jan and then he didn’t return for another two and a half months ! 🙄
