Quite simply Black needs to get backed into a corner with some of the questions he should br getting asked!

Of course it will be. You don't think anyone goes onto the radio not knowing what they're going to be asked, do you? There might be the odd nugget let slip, but it'll be all "Busy summer, new faces, good start, not so good lately, don't panic, need to get back to winning ways, more new faces etc".

I really like Chris Ellis, he's a thoroughly good bloke and he is great at his job. This is why he is so respected in UK hockey.

I just hope he isn't too nice tomorrow. He has a real chance here to get some answers that many fans have wanted for years. Praying this isn't a staged interview with pre-rehearsed answers. The BBC's increased activity with the Panthers this year makes me suspicious that this is just a glorified Panthers TV interview. I'm cynical about all things Panthers these days though, hope I'm wrong.

Here is possibly an opportunity to have a tough question put to NB - Has anyone on here actually tweeted a question for consideration to the BBC?? IF NOT WHY NOT!!! and don't say it won't be used, because if you don't submit the questions then they certainly wont be used!!

I've asked if it is a concern to him that so many long term fans have walked away in the past few seasons. We shall see if it gets asked or not.

I'm not on Twitter or Facebook and have no interest in signing up, least of all to pointlessly ask Neil a question he won't get asked, or at least won't answer.

But why does a professional journalist - Chris - need the fans to ask his questions for him? Surely he knows the issues we all have with Black and the Bermuda Boys?

Anyone who thinks Neil Black wont have screened/vetted the proposed questions prior to the interview is at best naive or at worst extremely deluded.
And if the questions are indeed vetted beforehand then the interviewer by default is complicit in that by association & going along with it.
Any interviewer worth his salt asks the questions he/she wants to.... not those they are told they can
At best they want questions from the fans so Neil Black can engage with the fanbase over the current situation.... or at least create the image of doing so.
Some may perhaps look at it as by giving the fans a 'chance' to ask questions it gives the interviewer an easy way of avoiding asking any of the 'hard' questions that the fans want asking themselves.

I hope I'm wrong in the way I think the interview will go. Either way I wont be listening live as I will be at work and will catch up with it at some point in the evening no doubt.

I don’t think this is the BBC asking NB for an interview I think this has come from him and has been set up.. Could be quite a short interview if all the questions are ones he doesn’t like . Just waiting for the same old bull that they usually spout out, will ask the question what happened to the fans forums that were going to be a regular occurance.

If there is an announcement then you’d assume that the majority of questions would revolve around the announcement. If he is selling then a lot of these questions are rather pointless

Yes this is typical NB,he’s done this before when things have gone tits up.
It’s about the only time he sticks his head above the parapet when he wants to try and quell the fans unrest.
The phrase “I can promise you” will probably be trotted out as usual......and then absolutely nothing will happen as usual and promises won’t materialise.

If it is an announcement of sale (mostly wishful thinking on my part), then that'd go some way to explaining the seemingly reduced playing budget this year - clubs normally trim costs as much as possible during a sale to make it as attractive as possible
