We’ve been here before too....even that’s bloody Groundhog Day again. 🙄 What's on instead, don't tell me it's cheerleaders or speed skating January 10-12th are the Conti final dates and according to the NIC website there’s nothing major on between 30th Dec and 17th Jan.

Black stated the one family friend who had a stake and that shares or something hadn’t changed for 22 years....is that true,I can’t remember where we looked at it before on companies house stuff ? From Sportscape Group Limited's filing history on Companies House, say here, the 12 July 2002 return as an example shows Neil as majority shareholder, and "Merrington Limited", from Milan, as minority holder. Now that could've been the Old Family Friend, before he moved to Bermuda, but he definitely didn't own half of it. This is the sort of thing Ellis could've done his own research on beforehand tbh. He asked a vague question that was easy to brush off. He was a bit fawning throughout for me, although he'd definitely not have been given a second go at any time if he had given him both barrels, so I can understand it to a degree. I will say, in Blacky's defence, having now watched it I don't think he really threw Doucet under the bus. Whether you believe he doesn't stick his oar in or not (strange number of phone calls if he doesn't), he did seem to make it clear Doucet was his guy and he'll stick with him. Still, that's that over and done with for another year. (Other than the promised forum in December, obviously.)

To be honest it was just yet another NB publicly stunt and Mr Ellis couldn’t have got his nose any deeper between his cheeks if he had tried. Made the happy clappers day I’m sure but was about as factual as Enid Blyton.

CRBF transferred those shares to Permanent Mutual in 2016. Returns to Companies House these days don't show shareholdings in companies. Duncan Paul Saville is listed as a "Person with significant control" of Sportscape these days, as well as NB. DPS is a 62 year old Bermudan chartered accountant and also a director of Harlequins rugby club. Looks like rugby finances aren't as good as hockey...

That’s fair enough if there’s something big on. They should put it on the NIC “what’s on” page though !

In principle the role of DoH is a good idea if done right... but then this is Panthers If the role of the DoH is to improve a clubs chance of being successful then surely as you would want someone experienced in the role, someone who knows what to do & has contacts. Especially when essentially as it's a brand new role at this club. Instead we sign someone knowing they've never done the job before, have next to no contacts & is conveniently an ex Panther...someone who knows how the club operates & who can be molded into doing the role the way Panthers want instead of how it should be Doucets appointment in one go destroys blacks statement that winning the league is the main priority- if that was the case an experienced DoH would have been recruited & the playing budget increased to match Squeelers, giants & Devils Does anyone actually believe anything he says anymore?

No, Neil Black is as slippery as an eel. The people running the Panthers have, as it stands ruined the club.

Correct.
Does anyone seriously think we would be in such a poor position if we had Steve King and Todd Kelman running the Panthers.
It’s that simple, Neil Black has little hockey knowledge, even less passion and takes little interest in driving the club forward - the result is there for all to see.
Successful hockey in Nottingham has left the building, will the last one out please turn off the lights.

Is anyone at all surprised the way the NB interview went/was conducted? Doesn't seem like it from previous posts. Put simply Chris Ellis was never going to ask the hard questions the fans want answers to or even follow up with any of his own.
He is Panthers pet reporter. One that wont rock the boat Hence why he got the interview with Black in the 1st place & Wallace before that.
From my observations Chris is quite pally with both NB & GM from a conversational aspect (not that there is anything wrong with that) & has been around Panthers quite some time in one form or another so was never going to risk upsetting either of them & lose journalistic access to the club
Someone else (no I have no idea who) would have been better doing the interview but then it would most likely been cut short because Black like the question/a or not even took place at all.
It appears now Panthers is now seen 1st & foremost as a cash cow... not a sports club which should at very least be genuinely challenging for honours every season & has now become a mere husk of its former self & very sadly doesn't look like it's going to get better anytime soon.

TOTAL SHAM. Learned nothing new. This once great Club is owned and operated by people who have little real hockey knowledge and even less love for one of the great institutions of British Ice Hockey. Shame on you all. Money talks and has no time for the true fans or their wishes or feelings.

Shame on you all. Money talks and has no time for the true fans or their wishes or feelings. Similar with the whole organisation. People are doing a great job but those on the outside are kept out to keep those inside cozy. There are people in the stands that can help. Not take over, not even be involved as such. But relied upon to see that things are watertight run. The on going game end facts (the GRS - game record sheet) though presumably checked is always in error. To the detriment of 'end of season stats' being wrong. What's the point of that. We do the GRS and take these figures in order to have the detail be game/competition/season end for posterity. Prime example (last time I looked) CARR has thus taken 2 then 4 mins = 6 pims thus far. It;s on the GRS but the player stats has nought. Contact is pointless, having been in touch with Elite and telling them of the need to alter this and other mainly netminder stats it is just ignored. The only thing achieved from this is cutting those who contact them off from receiving the weekly emails (with results) they once received. That be another question to ask those in charge. Why do this? Pathetic. We are not needed bar turn up (I've given up) pay up and get out.
