I have watched Panthers just prior to winning the league so have seen plenty of success especially in the cups and playoffs.
What does impress me is the way Corey coaches the team, yes recruitment could be of higher calibre (but this depends on funds made available) but for me Corey is the best coach in the league and has proved it more than once, how many players have exceeded expectations in the past?
The jury is still out on the current squad but we are still in all the Cup competitions and its time to get behind the team.
The performance against Cardiff was the best this year and the team should be given credit for this.
The Trust is a way of communicating with the management but needs to be provide positive reinforcement?
ps don't have a season ticket but get to every match we can, because we SUPPORT the Panthers.
And positive reinforcement will get us nowhere. Let's pump more hot air in the ego. Sorry but we do SUPPORT this team, not sure why you felt the need to emphasise that key word. Nobody is void of criticism and the club deserve a boat load of it and more. Most of us on here have been through the trenches with this club.
We don't have an identity and that is down to Corey. We haven't had an identity since the League winning season. What team are we? Do we play with intensity? A hard forecheck? Utilise speed? No, none of yhe above, yes we've beem better over two week however this endless cycle is unprofessional, lazy and just dull to keep seeing. I used to associate this team with passion, heart and grit. Now i just think "good seats still available" and *insert sponsor here*. Granted that a silver haired grunts fault but the off ice advertising shouldn't over power the on ice product, which it does and that's down to the coach too.
The management need a big change in philosophy and so does Corey's outlook on how he coaches a team. He can't mess with lines all the damn time that's what practice is for, he can't stay with one PP strategy and he cannot just hide behind trap hockey when things aren't working when he doesn't have a team built for it.
