A recent protest about ownership involving Coventry City involved loads of plastic pigs being chucked on the pitch...and then a pitch invasion...difficult at an ice rink I know.

Has anyone thought of a really simple protest whereby everyone just posts the same message on every single tweet the club put out or spamming all the panthers related hashtags? Then just keep retweeting and liking all those messages until you've drowned the club out on their own timeline? Yes it only effects those on Twitter and it won't hurt the bottom line, but it'll be pretty embarrassing for the club. It also shares your message with all your Panthers friends, and potentially their Panthers friends etc... Simple and effective

Someone released a real pig onto the pitch at a Forest v Leeds match, in that case it was just a prank.

Some people think it's Neil Black's fault, others Gary Moran, others Corey Neilson, others go for certain players... anything too specific will no doubt generate disagreement. But #NotGoodEnough would seem to cover everything.

Why not kidnap Panthers Bear and hold it to ransom? We could take a load of social media photo bombs with it everywhere? Strap it to the back of a lorry and drive it around Nottingham with a "Get The Black Brigade & Gassbags Out" banner on him/her?

Why do we assume someone better would buy the club?

Why do we assume someone better would buy the club? It's Christmas, time for hope rather than assume.

So what are peoples thoughts on a hashtag? I think something aimed higher up, so #GaryOut etc... is probably a better path as he's a bigger problem. Or maybe just #NotGoodEnough. Be good if we could try and make it interesting, throwing in gifs and pictures for people who aren't aware of concerns. Humourous example below!

This would be a dilemma for the club, if the # is used on their tweets.
An initial reaction would be for them to block those twitter accounts using it, but then surely you are blocking the people you want to advertise to.
Results like the one tonight does make it harder though, and I do wonder whether tonight's performance was due to them being told they had to pull out all the stops with the Supporters Trust leaflet campaign going on.

A leaflet a week would get us the league title then! I really wouldn't have thought that the "club" would have paid us that much attention so far. I also reckon that the players and coaches are probably trying their best to win every game. Also, the trust isn't about what is or isn't happening on the ice this season. It's a longer term view.

To be fair, I think you have to hijack the hashtags rather than tweets as, like you state, they can just block people very quickly. Can't block people from a hashtag though.

I get the people who want GM out (and Corey out to a lesser extent even though I don't agree with it) but it's baffling to me that people would want Neil Black to cease being the owner of the club. I can't imagine there would be many people willing to take over an ice hockey club in this country, there'd probably be even less considering the circles you'd have to get into (or already be in) to be accepted at the EIHL roundtable as well.

I'm not so sure. The Devils seem to have found decent new owners. Neil Black isn't the only person in the world interested in owning a Hockey club you know? Especially one that actually turns a modest profit.

From my memory it's not like they just went out and bought them, he (Kelman) pitched the idea to them and they're all in it together.

You're right Matt,we don't know, but simple maths would indicate that they make a massive profit. If Mr Black sold up,i bet there would be buyers queuing up....I would be ! If teams that beat us can exist on crowds of 25% of what we get, then what are we making, because we don't spend that much more than some other teams and realistically the only extra expense we have over some smaller teams is extra arena cost. All teams fly in the same number of imports, same housing, same equipment, similar travelling costs etc etc.
