Its a nothing game in terms of the league...but we need to send a message for the challenge cup semi's. Weve lost to them 3 times in a row, we're on a losing streak in all competitions so now people need to come big. Time for some players to show some passion and maybe the fans need to be geeing them up to.

Biggest rivelry in world sport part 6 is it? Is it really only part 6? It's the first of 3 in a week and a half either way.

Nearly a sell out to see us get thumped if they don't start playing better

Biggest rivelry in world sport part 6 is it? Is it really only part 6? For info this is actually meeting 8 of a guaranteed 12. Could be even more if playoff ties fall the right (wrong?) way. What is it familiarity breeds again...?

Yes a lot of people were saying the same on Saturday night. I think this is another reason not so many are traveling away now.

I wonder if Salters might actually turn up for this game.
Got an injury yes,but I can't recall any player before going from being so effective to so ineffective in the space of two months. He looks totally disinterested most of the time,if he's hurt that bad that he can't put at least some effort in then he shouldn't be playing until he's fit !

Both teams coming off a 0 point weekend with a point to prove for the upcoming Challenge Cup games.
If we play like we did in Belfast this weekend ( a big if with our consistency ) then we'll have a real chance but we can never discount you, especially in your own rink. However beat up some of your players may be.
What will the injury situation be like come the weekend? Werner, Lee, Benedict?

What will the injury situation be like come the weekend? Werner, Lee, Benedict? And Farmer. Won't know much until nearer the game, probably that bit where you hear the dulcet tones of our own Stef saying "Programme changes for tonight...", in fact. Think last word was Lee was back on the ice, Benny had a toe injury, Werner no idea, same for Farmer. Ticket updates, now we can help you with those

Jonathan Zion As for for the game, dreading it. Heart says Panthers, head says Steelers. Unless k-wall has one of those 'stand on his head' games.

Maybe he's another one that's fed up, they never really said what his injury was? But he sure as hell isn't the same player that started the season.

This game is crying out for a bench clearance.

This game is crying out for a bench clearance. Full bench clearances in Nottingham were in March 1987 and February 2001, i.e. every 14 years. So we're next due one about this time next year

There is a striking resemblance.
Waits for posts on steelbleet calling us "classless" (hate that word)
