Eagerly awaiting this show down now for various reasons will Darling/voth take on Shmyr/Simoes.
More importantly , We are unbeaten at home and Devils are unbeaten so something has to give, I ll go for a 3-2 win ;D

Ive not really seen or heard much about the devils in general this season.
Im not gonna go in with any preconceptions about them and Im not gonna make a prediction though. If they are anything like last season its not gonna be an easy task.
This weekend is gonna be difficult. Hull are fast, not as physical as us but we struggled against caps (maybe the bigger ice? Who knows?) and they both play similar hockey.
This weekend we could see Schmyr come into his own after a quiet first few games as Rizk is a bit mental and Voth wont let his team mates be pushed around by us!

I think this will be a real tester for our abilities. But the heart and guts that this team has, coupled with the firepower of McAslan and Clarkie will,I feel, see us through!
Gonna be a close one though!

Could be another game like Manchester where we have to be patient.
Any victory will be a good victory. (3 - 2 to us)

Well given my impressive track record of getting the result but the score completely wrong I'll go for a 5-3 to Panthers result, though I would prefer a 1-0 to us, scored, and assisted by Neilson from a Fantasy Team point of view.:-)

My first Panthers game this season so I'm looking forward to a continuation of the run and gun hockey that's been keeping everyone on the edge of their seats! ;D A win would be nice too.

Boy am i looking forward to this one! The Devils i would describe as having a really hard working unit this year, we have good stamina as well having finished strong in every one of our games so far.
Look out for Mark Smith and Dave Ianazzo probably our most potent threats going forward. Look out for the Lukas Komarek Checking show and Tyson Teplitsky to come rushing from the back.
Cant wait to bring a Red Army to the NIC for this first game and our last in what our Away Travel has called Road Trip september ;D

Something will have to give, if Cardiff have a checking machine Komarek, I would expect Simoes will welcome him, could be quite interesting if he's as good as Gazza says.

I think Cardiff have quietly built a really good team this year and expect them to be up there so this will be a good test. Voth, Osaer, Teplitsky and Ianazzo in particular seem to be having a big impact.
This should be a good tight game but I'll give it to the Black and Gold in OT.

Not going to predict a score but Im gonna go for a Cardiff win. Both sides appear to be pretty evenly matched but I think the key difference could be in the netminding.

I predict (no, not a riot) a loss in regulation time. Not sure on score, just have a feeling that this may happen. And before people start asking my theory behind this, well in truth, there isn't one as it's just a prediction I'd happily eat my words however
