Seems my Gif is broken. Much like the Steelers league campaign.

If anyone can make it work it was this link to the old Laurel and Hardy car falling apart gag. Seems fitting as this is more than just wheels coming off now.

Looks like Devils will lose in Guildford, 5-3 down. Jamie Crooks with 4 goals I think, first period hat trick.

They are trying to give it to us. Cardiff are still in the box seat, just, but the Yorks have totally bottled it. 4 straight at this stage of the season.

Absolutely loving both the way that They Who Squeal are flushing themselves down the toilet right now, how the other 2 main contenders (Belfast & Cardiff) are stuttering a bit, and how the Panthers are making a late resurgence...
HOWEVER...
Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Whilst there's much to despise about Them Up The M1, it cannot be denied that they have a very dangerous team this season, and they have an intensely irritating habit of being the Comeback Kings. Especially against us. And we're hosting them on Saturday.
They've not clocked up a point yet this month, and losing to the bottom 2 teams in the league this weekend is beyond hilarious and out the other side. But that's only going to make them all the more fired up for Saturday. If we don't want egg on our faces, maybe we should wait to see what happens next weekend?
BTW... I did that table again of teams based on goals scored and goals conceded per game, then ranked all teams on each with a combined ranking at the end. We're just being edged out of best defence by Belfast, but the Rusties are clearly way ahead on goals scored. On combined rankings, the two front-runners (just!) are ourselves and Sheffield, with Cardiff falling slightly behind.

Absolutely Shaggy. There's plenty of hockey still to be played. Nothing more dangerous than a wounded dog.

Decent weekend for the Yorks, but the Devils look well set from here.

That 4 game losing skid wrecked it for Sheffield. Devils title from here on in!

Mardiff's to lose. Don't they have the harder run in?

Mardiff's to lose. Don't they have the harder run in? Cardiff’s isn’t easy they’ve got to play Panthers twice and Steelers twice. Sheffield’s run in is easier. Panthers have Cardiff twice and the usual nasty looking double header in Belfast.

So they do have the harder run in then, might make it interesting. If Cardiff were to drop one more point and Steelers win out then Steelers would win it. Purely based on the fact there are still 2 games left between the two sides. Whilst Cardiff will probably drop a point, it's difficult to see Steelers winning out. But it's not as cut and dried as certain people seem to be making out. Either way, it's been a great season and it's just good to be back amongst it. Same must go for you guys too. I resisted the temptation of the "wheels falling off" gif after your weekend. :-D

I resisted the temptation of the "wheels falling off" gif after your weekend. :-D Our problem was we started with 4 punctures back in September. Still, nothing's set yet, Mathematical Day is still a while off for once.

Just think where Panthers would be now without that dreadful start.

That's it. 7 points in the first 10 games put Panthers well behind the 8 ball to start with. That they are still not at "Mathematical Day", despite that, is nothing short of sensational, beyond my wildest dreams from then.

Guildford have had 9 minutes to forget in Belfast, by the look of things.

Ordinerally Id be quietly confident Guilford could get a result tomorrow. Steelers are now flying though, and Flames are coming back from Belfast for a 3rd game in 3 nights.
