The 7 remaining EPL teams announced they would be setting up a new PIHL for the new season...well looks like Swindon have already pulled out link

Both teams need to get March sharpness in before the CHL. It's not a bad way of doing that. TBH, I'd have been more disappointed had we not gone down this route to be ready for the new season. We do need to fill it with with illustrious opponents too though

Exactly the sort of team we should be looking at to play over here. Let's hope we don't just use it as a one off event and we push for high calibre teams to come every pre season.

I doubt we'll see him ref again if it is a serious heart issue but I genuinely hope he has a speedy recovery

I have a tweet of a screenshot of a Facebook post he has done. I will attempt to upload it later on! Apparently a phone won't allow this to happen!

Shall we include retirees in here as well?
Matt Keith and Mike Forney both announce their retirements.

It would seem hardly worth while watching it if the best aren't playing. Though Ovi says he will play

For those who post "Can't do the Clicky thing" here is a short guide... Using The Shortcut ButtonTo use the short cut buttons, when you are posting a reply to a thread, you must hit the "reply" button on the right hand side of the top or bottom of the thread's page. The short cut buttons aren't visible if you respond using the "Quick Reply" box that is at the bottom of every thread. When you hit "reply" you will be taken to another page. In the message box, type your response. When you are ready to post your link, click on the icon. After clicking it, this - should appear in your post. To make "clickable" text, put the link inside the first set of brackets and add an "=" before the URL. It should look like- Then, in between the brackets, you should type whatever words you wish to be "clickable." The code when you are finished should look like this: CLICK HERE When you post your reply, the link shouldn't be visible, but the text in between your brackets, the "CLICK HERE" in this example, should now be colored instead of black. Manually HTML CodeYou can manually HTML code your posts by either using the "Quick Reply" box or by using the "Reply" page. If you are going to manually HTML code, then all you have to do is type in the code yourself instead of hitting the shortcut button. Just type the following- CLICK HERE **Note: There should be no spaces inside the brackets. Many thanks for this Warren and to keep it neat, I will edit the posts if people are unsure what to do

I am having to very strongly self moderate here but I honestly feel robbed that they ran our goalie and took him out of the game.

Also to add, massive credit needs to go to Corey for an effective use of his time out. Obviously I'm sure he didn't draw up Lawrence's goal but it was a good time to try and calm some people down

Somebody tell me how. In a game like that with stuff happening all over the place, one team gets SIX successive penalties and the other gets NONE ! How does that happen ? I think the rule of "we must even everything out" came into effect. Unbelievable and each call got softer as it went on. I hate blaming the refs but the amount of PP they have them in the second and third was a disgraxe

That was a performance to be proud of. PP goals, netnindjng, defensive work just incredible.
The sequence to Mcgrattens goal was a pure joy to watch. He did everything right and that celebration. The rivalry may not be what it used to be but it was lit up tonight.
Lawrence was poor but can't argue with scoring at the death like that. 4-2 looked shaky but 3 goals is a comfortable start. Tomorrow could still go either way and we cannot write them off in their barn.

Someone needs to go and get under the skin of "the king of Sheffield" and get him taking stupid penalties like he does. Brown needs to offer Hagos out at the first opportunity because he'll slink away for the most part. Mcgratten needs to be having words at warm up. Do the things that make the Home crowd get loud. I'm with FTM. Play the body get pucks in deep and pressure them. This Sheffield teams won nothing this year and we have an opportunity to confirm that. I don't care it's game 15 of the year - if you can't get up for this, you're in the wrong sport!

I genuinely think we'll win over 2 legs on gut instinct alone. Let's be honest, we knock Sheffield out and surely their season is as much a disaster as ours?

So the argument is because he achieved the clubs targets he should stay... the thing is the club achieved the wrong target! The league should be THE target every year without fail. If the club performs badly or the team fail to compete in the that the coach should fall on his sword! This CC thing should be seen as a little bonus that includes the playoffs and CC On that I 100% agree. But it's like any walk of life, your boss says they want you to achieve something, then that's what you have to do. It's not Corey's fault what parameters have been set.

Arrogance in top level sports is not uncommon at all. Torts in hockey, Zlatan, Jose and Clough were all arrogant. Do you know what they all are? Winners. And I don't understand your point about pay? Don't we all go to work to be paid? Sorry folks, you can all pick my post apart but no one will change my mind that's corey deserves the respect of this fan base. People seem to be mistaking that for an acceptance of on ice performances which I find ludicrous. They are all brilliant, knoledgable coaches/players that you've mentioned there. Is Corey brilliant? Is Corey knowledgable? In my opinion its a straight no, but thats open for debate. But I will tell you one thing - None of Clough's or Jose's teams played with the level of arrogance or complacency Corey's do! Yes we do all go to work to be paid (other than a slight few who do it for other reasons). So again, being a good servant just doesnt cut it with me. Jose team at Chelsea last season played with the utmost complancey and got him sacked! I never saw a Clough team play being a Pie and too young so can't comment on him too much other than his arrogance was well known and applauded! Ultimately, I will respect everyone's right to have an opinion on Corey however my point has always been regardless of what you may think about Corey the coach or the player, he deserves some respect from this fan base.
