Anaheim aren't a one man team though are they, they just have an exceptional goalie.

Anaheim did seem to get the rub of the green throughout the series; It was a shame for the Red Wings that, in a must-win 6th game, they only started playing in the 3rd Period when 3-0 down; I suspected that they might falter after the defeat in game 5, but not to that extent.
A prediction for the final? Ducks in 6

Genuinely gutted for ya Pidge. All those voting/picking/thinking Ducks will win it...you carry on, will just make SENS winning the cup that little bit sweeter.

Well, we lost 3 - 2 last night in game one. I am still quietly confident. We lost the battle...but we aint lost the war.
GO SENS GO!

I think the ducks will win the cup 4-2. I just can't see the sens breaking down that checking line, I think the sens have class netminders, but don't have a stanley cup winning netminder.

In my opinon Emery is a class netminder! But I don't think his a Stanley Cup winning netminder.

No he's not but Ottawa's front line certainly is capable of winning it for them.

Lets wait & see if he's a Stanley Cup winning netminder. Neither netminders are Stanley cup winners...yet. What does please me about last night, is that both our two goals came from our 2nd & 3rd lines. We seemingly have MORE depth (Heatley, Spezza, & Alfredsson) than people give us credit for. Just 'hoping' those words come back to haunt ya Jay

Emery 0-0 Ducks
Hangin on a little bit here Heatley.
Edit: Sens lose it 1-0.
They were awful. The ducks completely dominated them and if it weren't for Emery it would have been 10-0.

Sadly, I can't argue with ya. They have totally 'snuffed out' our top line. We are hangin' by a thread now. Totally cliched thing to say, but we have to win both our up coming home games. The semi re-assuring thing is, we have only lost these 2 games by 1 goal...little comfort I know.

WAKEY WAKEY ATTENTION MESSRS ALFREDSSON, HEATLEY AND SPEZZA
The Stanley Cup Final started 2 games ago. When are you three turning up?
Boy, were the Sens poor or what? Started with some big hits, but after a couple of penalty calls, rather than hitting legally, they stopped hitting. After that, only looked like they wanted to try and win the game after the Ducks goal, and that was just far too late.

Having only watched a few brief moments of game 1 and game 2 recorded to watch later on im not really up to speed with how the teams are playing. But is it a case of Ottawa playing badly, Anaheim neutralising Ottawa's attack or a mixture of both?

But is it a case of Ottawa playing badly, Anaheim neutralising Ottawa's attack or a mixture of both? I'd say our D are playing well, but our forwards/top line have just been 'snuffed' out the games. Close down Ottawa's top line, as Ducks checking line seems to have done exceptionally well, & in this series of games we seem to struggle.

Heatley has been SO quiet all series. Anaheim are doing very well to close down the Spezza line! Unless they get firing soon, I can't see the Sens getting the Cup.
