I think that they were pretty much all exhausted earlier in the thread! ;D I will be glad to hear that he has signed WHEN he signs tho!! Fairly confident that Levers will be joining us again next year...

ive been talking to a source and he claims that we have re-signed Moran, Clarke, Craighead and Struch along with the signing of a Manchester youngster and a certain Mr Cruickshanks.
Good news in the whole, im a little disappointed that Struch has returned as a player rather than a coach, but im gonna trust Adey's judgement on this occasion.
From dreamworld.com, Panthers have completed the signing of Nikolai Khabibulin and Jarome Iginla because they see this league as 'more of a challenge'. Reports that Forsberg and Belfour joining the Racers have been proved to be untrue, as it seems theyre going to Belfast.

Newham, don't be teasing us re the Cruckshank rumour. It's not fair Unless it turns out to be true Good news in the whole, im a little disappointed that Struch has returned as a player rather than a coach, but im gonna trust Adey's judgement on this occasion. I still think David might have one last 'hurrah'left in him, and I voiced my opinion on this forum that perhaps it was time to hang up the blades too. But I'll side with you on Strudder on this one ultimately though

Much as i think Strudder is a great player and a brilliant guy id like to see him move into more of a coaching role but if he feels he can still do a job then Im sure he will be welcome!

If true, YAY struch is coming back ;D

I really hope that this source isn't part of the dreamworld.com team?! Are you for real on this part? The latest news from dreamworld.com is that the Steelers have hit serious financial difficulties and are pulling out of EIHL next season!! ;D

Yeah it would be really funny to see an EIHL team have financial problems and having to drop out of league . I don't think anyone wants to see another 4 team league again and I know about the Steelers and Panthers rivalry, but wouldn't it be better from the Panthers fans perspective to see the Panthers beat the Steelers in the league and playoffs, rather than demise of the Steelers.

I am sorry, I missunderstood you then. I thought you were just having go at the Steelers (which is fine and hoping for demise of the the Steelers (which is wrong IMO).

Apology accepted I don't have a lot of time for certain individuals in that particular club, nor for the more moronic element of their fan base, (Doom, Scuff & BDS set the standard for being normal fans with their heads' screwed on.) But I wouldn't want them to fold all the same

Reguarding signings we've normally re-signed a couple of players already. Personally I think we'll sign the Brits first, with the possibility of the NHL going on strike, the imports will come later.

I think signing the Brits is crucial this season, as Clake & Moran especially proved that Adey was bang on the money when he got them signed up quickly a year ago. Foreigners can get signed later, sign the Brits up now Paul

I heard on a couple of froums now, that Whistle is going to do take the bulk of Giants squad with him to Cradiff, like he did when he moved from Bees to the giants.
Ruff to Cardiff C.Bowen to Cardiff J. Bowen to Cardiff Kelman to Cardiff Johnson to Cardiff Riehl to Cardiff
Nieckar to sign as Racers coach Maxwell to the Racers, due to this new player sponsorship system. Pope to sign for the Racers Mallet to sign for the Racers Robinson to re-sign
Panthers to sign; Cruikshank Myers Hill Sample Lake
The above rumors I have heard on various forums, no doubt that many of them turn out to be nothing but rubbish though.

[quote author=Luke Mallet to sign for the Racers [/quote] Aaron Mallett is a 15 or 16 year old Haringey junior goalie. With all due respect, Luke, that's not quite in the class of the other rumours I'd be more worried if he wasn't invited for training.

I didn't know that he was that young . That is a rumour on the Racers forum. Your probably right if he is that young, however Craze is not much older and he is the third netminder for Cardiff.

I reckon Adey will be in talks with the imports and sorting out the nitty gritty - seeing who wants to come back etc etc. I wouldn't be suprised if some are near to signing now to be honest. As for the brits, i don't think he will have any problems with them and we have our bunch back ;D

Panthers' Woolhouse is only 18 though, it'd make sense to save money on a young back up & get a import goalie in...

i think the only signings we will see for the near future are returnees. Dont be surprised if Jason Sessa returns to sheffield by the way!

Speaking of signings when do we normally hear about our first signings We normally get good signings announced just before the season ticket deadlines to generate a few extra renewals. Then the "lesser" signings once we've parted with our cash. Here ends today's message from Cynicsville.

I agree about the returness from last season in the near future. ;D Not sure about too much new blood as we had a good team last year and i think Adey will want to keep as many of them as he can Towards the back end of the season he got the right flow and everyone gelled spot on - i reckon he will aim for the same again ;D
