Kratky becomes a Viper 23/08/2007 Newcastle have completed the signing of giant Czech defenceman Petr Kratky. The 31-year-old, who has experience in the Slovak, Russian and Dutch leagues, spent last season in France with HC Briancon, where he scored 13 points. Coach Rob Wilson, who has just announced his retirement as a player, said: "Petr's a big guy who plays a physical sort of game and has a mean streak, which I like in my players." Phoenix complete roster with final forward signing Friday, 31st August 2007 Manchester Phoenix Head Coach Tony Hand has completed his summer recruitment drive with the signing of 26-year old Canadian forward Joe Tallari. Hand remarked, "Joe's name came our way last week and I made some enquiries about him. The responses we got were very encouraging as he is described as an 'offensive contributor' and a really good team player. We contacted his agent, made our offer and after a little bit of negotiating, I'm delighted to say Joe has accepted and will be with us for this weekend. He holds an Italian stamp on his Canadian passport and that enables him to fly in straight away. Hopefully, he'll be ready to play in at least one of the games this coming weekend against Sheffield." www.manchesterphoenix.co.uk/news/s/0/891_phoenix_complete_roster_with_final_forward_signing.html

If him and Eric Braff team up then that will be interesting to see the smaller players go up against them!

Who out of Cov, Nottm,Sheff and Belfast are they gonna finish above? Id say they can push for 5th tho definatly

They have good tending in Ossier, solid looking D, (Still one slot to fill) a mix of strong and skillful forwards and a good Brit core. Also feel that Sylvain Deschatelets will be a player to watch! Regards Darren
