What a fantastic play for our second! Terrific play, nice line that one. Nice to see in the interviews their coach say we were better, crazy to be matching it with a team of their stature. Superb by Neilson and the team.

I don't think I have ever heard the arena that loud. We didn't quite hit 5,000 but damn, we were loud.

Tried to start a chant of " can we play you every week?" At the end last night, but my voice was shot 😁

Wow. Just wow. After watching the 2nd Mountfield game on the telly I was just looking forward to cheering the team that made history.
But they made more history and I was privileged to be there.
Let's go Panthers!

Today's results also mean we are now guaranteed to finish at least 3rd in the group. I'd have bitten your hand off for that at the start! Unbelievable Jeff!

Simply stunning, the fans put everything into last night but the team put in even more (they were absolutely knackered with 5 mins to go, but still gave everything they'd got). Still really can't believe we just witnessed that, amazing! Good luck to the Devils tonight by the way, the fans on their fan forum have been amazing with their kind comments on our achievements, one said he watched the game on TVs and even he jumped up and cheered when the last goal went in!

Superb game lachowitz did really well nd looks up for it this season. Perhaps the young lads waiting in the wings and signing of perlini has lit a fire under him. He looks a different player

The game was brilliant, the atmosphere even more so, the result awesome, arena security and staff were top notch - only negative was the catering - last week someone commented on here that it was cheaper to buy from the vending machines than from the kiosks, so this week all the vending machines were "out of order" went to buy a pint of Stella, only had bottles, tried to buy a Slush Puppy, was being filled up (why could this not have been done before the interval? ), Ice Cream was OK, but had to pay £2:00 for a bottle of water, and had to be in a glass, would not let me have it in a bottle, and 5mins wait for cold Nachos. I do not usually buy anything other than beer whilst at the arena but had my Granddaughter with me who was promised treats. Will remember next time.

From a bunch of players last season who could barely spend time in the same room together to a revamped team who are flourishing and look like they've been playing together for months, incredible. This team look like the real business. The arena was rocking last night, I guess it takes something pretty special to get our fans off their seats. I just hope the players can translate European success into the domestic season.
Best, game, ever.

I said on the Perlini thread when he signed that Lacho would have to either shape up or ship out... Looks like he's doing the former to great credit. Once Brisebois comes back then I think it's now actually Clarke who'll go spare - he can obviously still shoot etc but he looks 2 or 3 steps off the pace compared to the rest.

On what I've seen so far, your team, if kept together, will rip this league apart this season. I only hope the other clubs at least give you a game. You are playing like a Superleague team and it worries, nay, depresses me to be honest. I am looking forward to seeing you play live though.

Think we picked a good one for our CHL "Feature Game" last night!!!!! That's the best game I have seen in the CHL since last year's final, and TBH probably tops all that I've seen in the competition because it was one of our teams winning (and we seem some great hockey)! Unbelievable but now get the job done!

Unbelievable but now get the job done! It's great that the CHL are really buying into what is happening here and great that we are making waves in the competition. I always got the impression teams from our league were a bit of a laughing stock and not really wanted. The atmosphere last night and the team performance were stunning, our story can surely only be good for the CHL

Absolutely stunning result. Awesome. Congrats. Thanks Nemisis. There are some very gracious sentiments on Steeltalk, the Inferno etc which is great to see. I hope we would be as gracious if the boot was on the other foot.
