Like I said, it's a question of logistics. Unless Panthers Travel want to charter a plane, then any airline won't allow provisional booking of flights, while us fans decide whether we want to go. All of the trips are too far by coach so I'm certain they won't get involved. I also can't see Nottingham Panthers getting involved either, they haven't so far on the European trips, except for the return coach one night in Italy. People are quite capable of booking flights, hotels, match tickets etc without having some-one do it for them. I went to Ghent in 2015 for the Davis Cup Final, there were around 4000 GB fans there, all sorted their own travel, hotel and match tickets even though there was only approx 1500 officially available to GB. That's why I said earlier I didn't think it was a great draw. Bern yes awesome, but who really wants to go to Finland and Czech....urrgghh ! 😫 Prague is absolutely brilliant and only an hour from the team we have drawn. Hoping for Bern or Mountfield away in August.

I bet Panthers have a home stand on bank holiday weekend.. Panthers will then travel in September/October.
Defo doing Hradec and staying in Prague (was 40p a pint the last time I went)
Looking at flights it's only around £60 return
For Bern , return flights to Geneva for around the same from a London airport.
Transfer to Bern by rail for around €37

They're all accessible at a good price. Much easier than Luukko and Lulea.
Train to Hradec is supposed to be less than €10. Trains to Turku from Helsinki are very frequent. Swiss have outstanding transportation so that's a doddle.
Hoping to do 2 if not all 3.
I know the Devils owner is considering chartering a plane for Devils fans, said it would be £300ish per person which is extortionate but when hockey fans spend thousands on jerseys, nothing would surprise me.
It would be interesting if we played Hradec the same weekend/day as Devils play Liberec, probably end up bumping into their fans in Prague.

We have the Czech cheapness, & the expensiveness of Finland & Swiss. All fairly accessible, & bit easier for me living London. Should be heading to the Czech game, & either the Finnish or Swiss one.
Visited Prague about 12 years, & will probably spend few days there again. Also spent most of a day in Helsinki when was on Tallin trip.

As we have previously played two of the away games over one weekend, is there a possibility of us playing in Switzerland then on to Czech Republic, or don't the fixture dates allow for that.

I'd not planned on going to any this time but a trip to Bern is certainly tempting

Can to the whole weekend with 3 flights for around £210. Then a train or two here and there and accommodation you've got to be looking at £500 all in.

Yes, that's right. They had those TV timeouts at Braehead.
Games seemed to go quicker on the European nights compared to normal league games although I can't speak for Panthers or Steelers fans in that regard.

They had the TV timeouts when we were last in it too.
Power breaks they were called I think.

Hi from Bern, A few friends and me are looking forward to come to our away game on September 2nd. We already booked our flight to manchester, a rental car and the hostel in Nottingham. So we'll stay in Nottingham from September the 1st to 3rd. Is there anything to do beside go to the game? And what sport pubs do you recommend for having a beer or two before the game?
