Like the look of Bouchard, his bio seems like exactly what we need. I would also like Beauregard as someone posted in the rumours section. With his brother a big link between us I think it's a possibility. www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=11117

I think the hardest task will be the goalies, can not take Green and don't think Pacl is good enough but would CN take him as a No2, that would mean using 2 import slots on goalies

Well staying within the EIHL,the two I would be looking at would be Vinny Scarsella and Darian Dzurzynski. Both 26 or 27 years old,had good years last season and wouldn't cost even close to silly money.
I could see those two doing a decent job on either the 2nd or 3rd line at Panthers.

It is predicted that that teams will use a under 23 spot for the back up Goalie. However I feel that teams will carry a spare import Goalie, in case of a sudden injury to the starter therefore not having to start a rookie Netminder in games.
I also like the look of Faryna and I believe that Cale Tanaka could do a job as well.

I quite liked Faryna and Tanaka too.......Both as 3rd or 4th liners though.

Chad Costello would be a class signing. Not missed a game in 3 years either! That's some feat.

Corey wants younger, I'd expect that to be guys under 30, with the exception of a couple seasoned guys.
Costello isn't going to come here. You think a guy consistently scoring 100+ points in the ECHL is staying there because he can't get a job elsewhere? He must be inundated with offers from around the world. He's staying put for a reason.

He clearly has not had an offer from us. That's what he is holding out for..... One slightly used flat above Hooters and a guaranteed mention in the club spokeswoman's latest novella, no other club in the world can offer that.

With Wiikman now confirmed as gone. Possible new netties. Already been mentioned and would be a bit of a surprise for him to return to the EIHL but with the right offer who knows? Dan BakalaBig goalie with great numbers. Andrew EngelageEIHL experience. Nick Riopel
Small goalie with good college, ECHL numbers and European experience. Jeff LergSolid AHL numbers, turns 29 before start of next season. John MuseThese are just a handful of NM's potentially available. Personally hope we have someone already lined up and would expect 1 or 2 big announcements soon before the 1st season ticket deadline at the end of this month.

You can pick any free agent that's been playing in DEL2, Allsvenskan, Italy, EBEL, NLB, Norway, France etc and they're potentially on the radar. A few ECHL guys and the odd AHLer too. Should be a long thread...

The DEL2 is a league I'd scout from on a regular basis. There's plenty of quality netties out there if you're prepared to spend the money

Is there regulations on how big a goalies pads have to be in relation to his body?
I'm thinking big porker, pad him up and wedge him in.
