Actually to be fair (which I dont like) he does what NB asks him to - make him money! That is the root of the problem. Its a business driven outfit, which doesnt deal with the supporters and has taken them for granted. However perhaps the penny has dropped - we will see.

Haha i have my spies,he does it every year. 😉 Yes it would seem the penny may have dropped a little way. Next season is going one of two ways.....It's either very good or it's an absolute car crash of a year. It's gonna be very interesting seeng what Neilson signs, with not much time, age limitations and a clampdown on injuries. # gone by Christmas !

This^ is from Nikita Kucherov (Tampa Bay) on his season. It looks like the kind of thing that is very familiar within Panthers.. Despite it being Kuch's best season yet. Hopefully Corey stumbles upon this and prints it out to stick on the damn whiteboard in the locker room.

So so obvious that the constant line changes don't work after 4 consecutive seasons of watching no chemistry. 3 best mates last year (Lawrence, Carter and Brown) can't have iced 5 minutes together all season. Ludicrous coaching.

He always thinks his way is the right way, won't listen even to his experienced players, won't change and is far too stubborn even when his way obviously isn't working. It's about time he woke up,or he's going to be looking for a new job next season !

Not a rumour, just pure speculation, but I could see Stefan Ridderwall being the type of goalie we get in to replace Wiikman - under 30, decent pedigree (SHL & DEL) but has played a more comparable level to the EIHL over the last couple of years. Type of guy who might be motivated to show he can still play at a decent level in the CHL ("unfinished business" ) Stats:

But look how few games he's played each season though........Could he play 60-70 games in a season ?

This is the issue if we sign a guy used to playing 30 40 games he might struggle with the amount of games in eihl. Another reason for a very good strength and conditioning coach.

'Truly adaptive.. very versatile.. play, and excel in any role handed to him' Sounds like he's got the attitude ever so badly needed and required, looks like he's got a good skill set to compliment that too! I'd be excited if we signed this guy.

Yes Fox is a player I noticed a while ago. Looks very impressive. Strangely panthers never seem to sign players who get mentioned.. they all go to Sheffield and Cardiff !

Bet that's surprised plenty of people Spik......Cruickshank never got the credit he deserved in Nottingham. We were daft to let him go when we did.
He was on one decent ish Panthers team and one poor team too.

Whereas, K-Wall would have some ropey games during the league etc, you knew if it was a final or a big game, he would turn up.

Cruickshank was better the more pucks he faced. He was either very good and bloody awful

We have to remember though, the league was of a much lower standard then, than it is currently. Plus, because of the insane conference system, K-Wall and Wiikman have played more regularly against the better teams in the league also. So although it was indeed eye opening, i still think K-Wall was the better goalie.
