So how do we think this will go, Payette has yet to lose in our building, will we pull a win this time or will the curse of the Donkey continue?

god i hope so. i reckon it will be a tough match with Payette winding our guys up, i just hope we take the same attitude as we did last night and prove our points by scoring goals! although i would like to see Payette get knocked into next week!

Payette has lost in NIC-in the group stage of challenge cup last year. But Andre has hit a bit of form, and if Hinksy and Morgan are nearer full fitness than last week, i think Vipers to win 2-1.

Oh ok thanks for that i was informed that he'd never lost there, it even said it in our programmes, i know he hasn't in league/playoff games though! excuse me im just off to beat Gary Moran! ;D

Having watched the Vipers play on Saturday against Cardiff I don't think this will be easy for the Panthers. BJ and I have seen the Vipers more than the Panthers this season and I can honestly say that Saturday was a different team, they looked like they were on the powerplay for the whole of the first period and left Cardiff standing. We had friends with us who had been to the Steelers game with us the previous week and even they agreed it looked like a different team.
I don't usually predict scores ........ this week is no different.

Looks like boths teams have picked their games up. Its not going to be easy but I think Panthers will edge it 2-1 Stevens and Mac. Payette/Shmyr to go at it with big Ry to batter him all over the ice ;D

4-1 Panthers. Like I say everytime we play the Vipers hoping for a war. I think we'll see a Shmyr v Corny rematch.

What is it with you and fighting? Cant we just see a great hockey match like coventry game was?
I mean dont get me wrong, i like it when enforcing is done right. where a player stands up for his team, lays down the law or imposes his ability to handle themselves when things go that far. But going out onto the ice to just hit each other is not what this sport is about.

But going out onto the ice to just hit each other is not what this sport is about. I do want to see a great hockey game. Im not saying I want every game to get out of hand but I do like to see a physical and chippy game and the Vipers are the toughest team in the league so I look forward to when they play the Panthers. Im not saying that I want every game to get out of hand but it's great to see a fight filled game every so often.

Take a ticket and get in line! I think we will take 2 points off this one. havin had a month away from hockey for various reasons i came back to the coventry & manchester games and after watching the team and the players body language they r really enjoying the hockey and when it starts to get a bit nervy (cov equalising more than once & manc getting within a goal or 2) we seemed to be able to step up a gear something which has been lacking for a long time. its amazing what a bt of confidence will do. signing of the year no.4 i think so!

Perhaps they mean chUmp. But going out onto the ice to just hit each other is not what this sport is about. Has anyone told payette this!!

(oops mis read the post! sorry) And Payette, 2 nights running. If we stick on the form we have been i cant see anything but a win... if vipers are playing as well as I hear... then yea it could be closer!
