It we go there without a fit import Netminder I would be amazed if we got to OT.

Whilst I wouldn't like our chances I wouldn't be overly pessimistic, if Green and the defence kept Sheffield down to 2 goals on Boxing Day I can't see why they couldn't restrict Cardiff to the same or less. I'd prefer to go there with a fully fit import netty (be that Wiikman or a temp), but I'm not going to right us off if we don't.

I think we will win this one with Greener in nets, just a feeling.

No cliches like biggest game, season defining blah blah... Regulation win for us is the only result.
And Giants need to grow a pair and take two points back off the squeelers.

Giants vs Steelers is irrelevant. Any result we lose ground and I dont view any outcome as favourable except that it's a regulation result so only 1 team gets points. As for us, it is make or break. 8 points a drift and likely dropping to 5th place, you get to a stage where not only do we need to overhaul an 8 point deficit on Cardiff we have deficits to 4 others which requires none of them to go on a great run.

New boy is doing well so far,not sure how we are losing though with the good chances we have had.
It would be very handy if Lacho actually turned up (again) !

For the second a panther was caught in possession too close to goal. Devils commentary team wonder how Panthers collapsed in December. We probably have had the better chances.

Better team behind so far. Dominant in possesion for large parts.
Commentators curse for the second. Something like "Panthers really taking control of the game with their puck management". Followed by "Corey is using Mosey a lot tonight as he is just on it. Having a great game and logging loads of minutes".
Directly followed by Mosey coughing it up in Defensive zone for Cardiff to score. Probably because he was exhausted at the end of a long shift. Although he is having a great game aside that. Missing 2 Dmen is putting huge pressure on the rest to log way too mamy minutes.
Come on boys. Great performance so far. Find a way to get the puck in the net.

3-1 down I believe.... I don't think we've played poorly in any of the games at Cardiff this season, still come out with little.
Frustrating.

Agreed - Mosey and Lawrence collided for the third, Mosey caught in possession for the 2nd. Cardiff have been more clinical. Horrible cross check by Ling on Lord unpunished - we would be up in arms if it was Marsh.
