Now the Mosey incident. There was nothing wrong with it. The ref called the outcome rather than the hit. Oconnor bottled it near the boards and went to go shoulder to shoulder with mosey but mosey was just too strong. Exactly If he saw it coming and did something about it, how can it be a blindside hit? From what I saw Duco elbowed Ollie and then chased him over the ice, two options for Ollie, let Duco have another go at injuring him or stand up to him. Cheap shot by Duco, brave response by Ollie. Exactly So in the 2 scenarios, a young Brit has faced 2 choices:- 1. Stand up, take it on the chin, stand up for yourself, be brave, have a scrap, play on. 2. Bottle it, squeal, go down as though you've been shot, con the ref, miraculously recover and play the next shift. Go Ollie

From the highlights there's not a lot in that Ollie/Duco incident. Been overblown.

His elbow only achieves head height after the hit, it's no higher than Ollie's when they collide. As for chasing him all over the ice, that didn't happen. It's a lot of nothing, get on with it.

Wasted opportunities for both teams to put there back up goalies through there paces. Could of split the honours. Ah well, it's the rivalry over development I guess. Rivalry over development?! Dan Green is 33. He's hardly at the development stage of his career!! Ok wrong choice of words but the ice time wouldn't have hurt keep him sharp We've seen Wiikman isn't invincibile.

I would say both incidents were called correctly by the officials.
Duco does raise his elbow into Ollie as he's coming in to finish his check; good call. Ollie definitely instigates the fight (with turns out to be a bit of a non event); good call.
At first when i saw the Mosey replay i thought the call was harsh. However when i watched it again i think Mosey does give him a push right as he goes into the boards. Oconnor does get himself in a very awkward position so Mosey is slightly unlucky. but if it was the other way around i would want a steeler to be called for it.

did u see the bit at the end I thought for the last 10 mins we were working our socks of and its only coreys fault for signing slow players but good players and I don't get how you can say we did terrible when the beat the likes of Belfast 7-1 in the first meeting and we scored in the first 1 min and 10 secs plus we hit the post in the last 5 seconds so I don't see how we did bad also with 3-4 players down we must have watched a different game , , , , , , , . . . . . . . You can have these full stops and commas on me. Please feel free to use them in future posts.

Anyone else noticed that steelers have added two assists onto there first goal, no wonder their players get so many assists when they are handing them out whenever they like. Just thought it was rather funny.

You'd think with the fact that the clubs now produce highlights that this kind of thing would be reduced. It's always been pretty ridiculous since teams did videos/dvds of the games, but now with the media revolution and how easy it is to check things I'm surprised it still happens. The league should start clamping down on this.

The league are very poor on keeping tabs on the stats, if I recall correctly Lacho mentioned this on TCW podcast when he was interviewed that they always get it wrong so that says it all
