Soft second for us like usual we need to step the offence in the 3rd and stop taking stupid penalty so think there having trouble with our defence we just need more goals

5 on 3 ok but the last guy you leave wide open in front of goal for what seemed like an age is way.

Soft penalty call on Mosey though to give them the 5 on 3,especially after the lenient call on Duco a couple of minutes earlier !

Well that webcast was a farce.
That much buffering in periods one and two, that at 9.20pm I'm waiting for the 3rd to start and the bloody thing refreshes itself straight to the Mom awards and Steelers have won 2-1....annoying,very very bloody annoying !!!!!!!

I got the webcast working in end, although not for long. I had to setup a VPN. It looks like Virgin Media as throttling their connection, which isn't much of an excuse but there we go.
For those who managed to watch it, how did we perform? Did I see Betteridge in a scrap? Hard to tell.

Somebody who knows more tech than me may be able to correct me, but if some are receiving a near perfect webcast that would suggest any issues people had were with equipment or internet provider. I had awefull issues for the most part. Tried 2 devices, multiple browsers & players on both. Also rebooted my router. Non of this worked through 2 and a half periods of unwatchable buffering etc. With 12mins left I switched to 4g on my mobile and it was perfect from then on. Fairly sure the blame is squarly with Virgin on this occasion for me.
As for the game. Thought the better(not by a million miles) team lost. The penalty call on Mosey to give the 5 on 3 which led to the GWG was poor. We rattled the post with seconds to go. Another night the result could have been different. Not too much to worry about. Played short against a full stength Steelers. Still havn't conceeded more than 2 in a game and it was a relatively meaningless game(as much as a Steelers can be). Obviously don't like losing to them but not too dissapointed about this one

We are on Virgin and apart from occasionally jittery picture and an occasional second of buffering it was ok. We are on the basic package too.
As for the game I think we deserved something, it was s decent performance.
Roy and Duco are clowns, Duco for his elbow on Ollie then chasing him around to fight him. Roy for reacting to a soft hit by punching out guy in the face - it's hockey, man up.
Sheffield didn't worry me at all, they were without Dowd, we are 3 imports and a Brit down and could only beat us by 1.
Both goalies were excellent.

What is the best way to get a refund on the webcast? Couldnt watch it
1st period took that long at the end of the 1st I refreshed the page and it was the start of the 3rd! The buffering was every 15 seconds. I timed it
Ive got virgin media not sure if they are the problem??
I used chrome as the browser cleared all my history everything

I thought it was a very scrappy game and going forward we looked very disjointed and I think it's due to the fact that Neilson is having to mix the lines as we are short. Both keepers played extremely well, keeping their teams in the game at times, defensively we were reasonable apart from the first goal where swindlehurst was at fault, strange for him but everyone makes mistakes! I thought the refereeing was poor missed calls and incorrect calls too often, ultimately leading to the 5 on 3 that finished us, I hope Janssen gets a hold of Duco next weekend because his elbow on Betteridge was appalling, typical dirty steelers

That was a terrible game and we were terrible. We were disjointed and lacking ideas. The PK was good but the less said about the PP the better

I must have been at a different game. ... Thought that was a very good effort against a solid steelers team. Shame it was decided by a 2 man pp, at times you couldn't tell we were 4 bodies down. Can't wait to see Ling in this side

I've got a feeling that since these 2 sides are evenly matched, that all games between them will end up being home wins. It's just a matter if some games go into Overtime.

Can't wait to see Ling in this side Steelers were solid, very well drilled and a couple of immense PK's. We were great for players down and not yet here and the Panthers effort at the end was terrific. Been to every home and away game so far this year and Steelers are easily the best team we have played so far but with players out and away from home I thought we did pretty well tbh.

Had an issue with Blaze one few weeks ago but they admitted it was their end. Modern technology. Was gonna get some mates over to watch the game glad I didnt bother!

Wasted opportunities for both teams to put there back up goalies through there paces. Could of split the honours. Ah well, it's the rivalry over development I guess.

A very scrappy disjointed game, two teams players down with jumbled lines and nothing on the line. Much improved panthers this year though, a lot better than what I saw from you last year.
The mosey boarding penalty was a naughty one, I was sat next to it and it would be called every night of the week.
Will be interesting when sides are full strength, and with the league points on the line.

Janssen get MOM? Granted all I saw was a buffering box so maybe I missed some (all) play along the way? Bit I saw Wiikman was well in line for it
