Gonna be some stonking nights in the old barn. Sure its not the shiny rinks most are used to but as a venue, you cant beat the atmosphere in the old building on a Saturday night.

Would've worked a bit better 4 hours ago when you were giving it the ITK swagger, but I'll let you off. Welcome to the madhouse more like

Someone cue up the 'We want 14' message. LOL!
Hope they're prepared and do well.
Do they hate Panthers already? or should we do a sweep stake?

Great news for Fife and the EIHL. A club with Fife's history and stature belong in the country's top league.

Flyers have never hated Panthers, there have always been good games and rivalry between us and Flyers and Panthers fans have always got on well I give it till the first game, then they'll be on the band wagon. Hope not, hope their fans have there own identity and cheer only their team, I have high hopes....then again I had high hopes for the Clan too. Stay away fromm the Darkside, you'll only get liquidated.

Fife fans know their hockey and have a long tradition of giving everybody a warm welcome to the barn, if you are brave enough you will find this out for yourselves There is no question that we have our own identity and we are already on the darkside by joining the elite

Great news to have that 10th team and the very best of luck. It has taken a lot of messing around. One hopes that Fyfe are in a financial position to be in there for the long haul. We really do need teams however from bigger population bases at reasonably sized stadia.

We really do need teams however from bigger population bases at reasonably sized stadia. I dont think our finances will be a problem. You have to remember that we will be the only team in the league operating from just a town rather than a city. Its a huge step and I only hope we can compete with the best on the night and not just be there to make up the numbers. Lots of names being branded about wanting to jump on the bandwagon, but we shall have to wait and see. As for hating the Panthers, Im sure we can arrange that ;D Only been down to one game in Nottingham a few years back when a crowd of us came down to watch you play the Giants and we had a great time in the arena and in the Castle (I think thats what it was called) before the game.

Congratulations, Fife - and welcome!
Really, really happy about this... and hopefully we'll have a couple of Scottish away double-header weekends next season where we can come up there mob-handed and show our appreciation. I've only been to Fife once, so would like to make a return trip.

This is bad news for me. My mother is from Fife, I was born in Edinburgh, and have been living here in Nottingham for 18 years.

Instead of the Scottish weekend, we could have the Scottish holiday?
2 weeks up north taking in Glasgow and Edinburgh and then moving on to Dundee and Fife. If we could only get Guilford & Manchester involved there would be some quality drinking done next season.
