I can't get to any Q+A session (unless work - doubted - and available space allows) but I've had my say in a little letter to the man. Sent it marked personal so HE gets it. I know the 'Fan 'Liaison' person answers/reads the email address of the office but how many others do also? I asked if he had a personal email (notice the office telephone number under his pic has gone) but the resultant reply did not give this answer , just telling me I can contact her on THAT email or hers.

I hope we don’t regret those break aways. Grit needed in tiredness. Let’s hold our breaths for this third and will that clock down. Can we have another goal please.

Guess if we win the last game against Austria we still stay up on the head to head as we'd both end tied on 4pts? Regulation win and we'll stay up. Can't see it unfortunately. The Norway and Latvia results feel pretty terminal for our stay in the World group. I understand that last point.

1-0 GB after 1. Just need to get another couple but as with any lead it's not safe. More needed as teams do come back at us. If we’re close by end of third, finger nails will be bitten. Just looked at ‘flashscores’ and we are off the bottom. (Smiles)

Ahh blast, however the more we can contest against these teams it bodes well. This game lost over things we need to iron out then we can listen to our nations anthem more. Best of luck tomorrow lads.

Another penalty and I fear we're done I spoke too soon. Penalties galore 52:15 2min penalty for Great Britain #20 PHILLIPS Jonathan for Clipping. 52:15 2min penalty for Latvia #21 BALCERS Rudolfs for Cross-Checking. 52:15 2min penalty for Great Britain #10 CONWAY Scott for Cross-Checking. Silly to let it go this way. Can’t win in the box.

3-3 must keep out the box. I’m willing this clock down, but still to play for.

Well, it's Austria, they lost in a shootout against Latvia. We play Latvia tomorrow, IF, and that's a big If, we manage to somehow beat Latvia in regulation we go level on points with Austria. We then play Austria in our last game in a Winner takes all match. Can we do it, I don't think so, both nations play a higher standard of hockey than we do so it'll be a tough couple of nights ahead. I think beating Austria will be enough. Tied points and a win between tied teams. We have to just do it of course.

Now 200 is a better figure than the first I was made aware of. I gather it was a 'tongue in cheek' moment from someone that made me think it was rather lower than this. How many can fit into 'Saltbox'? Larger than that 200? Better to allocate a ticket rather than show up and not get in of course but wondering if there was a venue larger that could take unused space as not a negative.

Whatever happens tonight between Latvia and Austria , it tells us who we have to beat. Or it’s curtains. Drawn.

Versus USA I’m glad the refs felt it needed to award us a power play when it was far too late. After Finland, a time to rest and recuperate. Much to fight for against Latvia but more importantly Austria if we are still in reach.

Looks like the EIHL are putting out the end of season average TOI stats up, starting today with Giants. Wonder what Panthers will look like? One of the stats missing. Better late than never.

How limited? No where available taking a bigger crowd. Not sure what’s to ‘finalise’.

Disappointing, but a point on the board at least Given other results so far in the group I can't help thinking a win over Norway would have been particularly useful to keep them below is for now Pity the USA messed about with Austria letting them get a point. However it will probably go down to the wire with that last game. We so nearly took all 3 points...wow.

GB 3-0 down, definitely heading back to 1A at this point Don’t give up yet. Whilst the refs are definitely not on our side. We have other games. By the way what’s the going rate on buying a penalty these days?. Looks like some super glue needed on those Norwegian sticks.

Taken from Steeltalk 6”6” 230lb Nottingham defenceman Josh Tetlow has left the club to sign with Lapland based Finnish Mestis (2nd tier) side RoKi Hockey. The 24 year old Englishman iced 246 times for Nottingham, winning the Elite Series. and this is how his new club announces player contracts ! 'The club will publish player contracts at the pace of the progress of the ongoing season ticket challenge. For every 100 cards booked, one player agreement will be published. More than 600 cards have already been booked during the campaign, which has been going on for about a week, and with it six player contracts have now been published.' Well, I have 255 games - 5 + 20 for 25 points and 114 penalty minutes. Season | Games | Goals | Assists | Points | Pims | 17-18 | 41 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 06 | 18-19 | 71 | 0 | 6 | 6 | 43 | 19-20 | 60 | 0 | 6 | 6 | 15 | 20-21 | 16 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 18 | 21-22 | 67 | 3 | 6 | 9 | 32 |
