Favourite time of the year! Hope there’s something in Cangelosi to Nottingham but doubt it somewhat…I’d imagine he’ll have already signed elsewhere in Norway.
I’ll start: All Brits to return Caruso to retire Otto to Denmark/ Austria Henbrant and Michaud to return

If that’s the case, I wish they would just announce it. We need that in place before we can do much else.

Think you might have answered your own question there in some way. *If* he is leaving (and I think he deserves an extra season) but doesn't have anywhere else lined up already that needs to announce him then how would it benefit the Panthers to announce his departure? Why not wait, with his permission, and only announce a coaching *change* when the replacement is hired? Would avoid a heck of a lot of negative speculation. Like you say why not wait until they have the coaching structure 'in place' one way or the other and then build from there. Right now I doubt that all the exit interviews etc have all been completed which would require his input whatever the future holds

After speaking to Jonathan at the awards night I would say he will not be back, the guy looked absolutely washed out. I think he may have a lot to consider. However I can see Kevin Moore staying . he loves it here and would like to stay but says no one has offered him a contract yet. I see Otto has left today, hope they’ve had words with him.

Moore has impressed a lot this year (to the point where it was getting a little embarrassing that the assistant was getting a significantly larger cheer than the coach during the introductions). He's smart, good with the press and seems very amiable. He is exactly the sort of coach we should be snagging on the way up because he won't be at this level for long.

I would like to see JP stay and see how he gets on with another season under his belt. That said, I think this season has absolutely drained him and wouldn't be surprised to see him leave. Kevin Moore on the other hand needs tieing down on a multi year deal.

I hope JP stays but totally understands it if he doesn’t, as I do with anyone of the players or staff that was with us this season.
One thing on KM, and this isn’t meant in anyway as a negative towards him but a lot of people say we should tie KM down to a multi year deal. I would just like to know what their reasonings are for that view. As with everyone connected with our club he has handled himself with great dignity and obviously at certain times has spoken extremely well and at times these were the most difficult of times imaginable. However, his job title says assistant coach, if people criticise our finishing position and style of play etc, he has had his part in that.
I just find it a bit strange that people are quick to dismiss JP but then think KM should get a multi year deal.
Anyway, I hope all our coaching staff, JP, KM & RS return and build on the foundations that were built in such a difficult season

Would give them all another season in a heartbeat, but as the dust settles on this season it'll all move on very quickly to simply being judged by on ice results again. KM is clearly an awesome human. Somebody we should want around the club. Should next seasons on ice product be poor though we'll soon see lots of people calling for his head. Certainly sign him up for next season. A multi year deal probably meaans little anyway in this league, but if it helps tie him down then give it him in the knowledge both parties will likely have a short notice period built in. What we expect on the ice next season will likely be determained by how much of a rebuild it is. Keep 6 or 7 imports and would be looking to compete at the top next season. Lose almost all and it's another 2 year plan. Regardless top 4 should be a goal.

I hope I’m wrong, but we’ve not been hanging with the ‘big boys’ for sometime. You just need to look at the games v Sheffield (I think it’s 2 years since we won against them) For KM I think it’s the nature of the beast in sport with hiring and firing. If he did get the gaffers job I’d certainly expect the club to have a sizeable and strong back room team with knowledge and experience of the club/league/tactics/scouting to support him and his ‘step up’ into the role and putting a squad together.

I don’t think top 4 is too much at all. Had AJ still been with us and we had better netminding then I think we would’ve got at least 4th this season. We had the understandable big slump after AJ’s death not to mention losing AJ the player himself and because of the situation we’re probably a little hamstrung when it came to replacing any underperforming players. And despite all that we only finished 11 points off 4th which is a smaller gap than 1st to 2nd

Top 4 next year absolute base minimum! Hire the right people, let them know if they don't meet expected targets they are out and then FINALLY start competing as an arena team like the Panthers should! This continual rebuild since 2013 is getting very old now. I cannot see how in hell a team as big as the Panthers wouldn't be in the top 4 next season

Aside something like this season Panthers should always be top 4 minimum.

Moore brings value in being a goalie coach but personally his real value is in his personality and the little things he does that make players want to play for him, too often we see coach’s in this league lose the dressing rooms but if you’ve got a coaching team that players want to play for then you’ve got a great foundation to build off of and provided you put a good team on the ice you’ve got a chance to be successful all year.

Lemay rumoured to not be returning.
Not hugely disappointed, but equally would have been happy enough if he was back as a 2nd/3rd liner with his goals. Great shot on him (our powerplay was focused on him) but never felt he was ever our main threat.

Great shot on him (our powerplay was focused on him) but never felt he was ever our main threat. Indubitably, a cannon of a shot, and some shows of very nice skills, but objectively, I think his stats perhaps tell the story. Led the team (and joint second in the whole league for PPGs) with 9 PPGs and 6 assists on the PP, and also led the team in SOGs. But only 13+7 at even strength in 51 GP, and a horrible, outlying, team-worst -28. Some games looked a potential world beater, other games anonymous. Only 1 point (and -9) in 5 GP vs Steelers, but filled his boots vs Coventry, Dundee and Glasgow (20 points vs those 3, but still only -1). I think he's perhaps had better seasons.
