Wife is from Notts, you’d hope the club are working really hard to secure his signature. Would love him back If he’s not back with us I’ll give you a good reason why. But he is signed to someone.

Im quite excited! Signings already!! Hoping it’s a coach, but will accept any news at this stage. Article said won’t have coaching announcement for a couple of weeks and the rumour page has just posted it’s Otto Let’s hope they don’t overlook Kevin Moore, the guy loves it here and he wants to stay.

I really like KM and hope he stays but I don’t think we can afford to take the risk of hiring someone as head coach who only has two years of being assistant coach as their experience at pro level

I think i'd take Moore with a year understanding the EIHL than a coach who's never been here before and needs time to understand it. Almost every coach in the league has either played here or been around some time and really understand it. Coolen being the only exception. It took Fox 5 years as a newblie to win the league. If we can snag soembody who has been here before and gone off to do some coaching then great, otherwise i'd take the new head coach gamble of Moore rather than a new to the league experienced coach like GG. Not dead against it, at this point I think i'd take the Moore risk though.

Doesn't need to be either or though, based on rumours it sounds like KM wants to come back so why not bring in a more experienced coach so that KM can continue to develop as the assistant and then if we’re in this position again in a couple of years then offer him the job

Yep. Could also just mean Panthers havn't decided yet and his contract has expired making him unemployed like a lot of players and staff are over the summer.

Could mean that any new coach may want his own people as assistants.

From the same twitter account that called Paredes, Neilson and Nieminen:-
Stephen Johnson and CJ Garcia re-signing with Storm Cole Sanford and Joey Martin re-signing with Devils Trevor Cox and Sam Duggan leaving Devils Daniel Tedesco and Greg Printz leaving Giants

Although I guess if they are leaving those clubs they are to better leagues.

If Cox is leaving Cardiff I can’t see it being to another EIHL team and if we’re trying to catch up to Giants then I don’t think we should be signing two players their fans are calling busts

I didn't think Tedesco had been that decent for Giants but then I looked and he was their top point scorer so he couldn't have been that bad.

He's exactly the player we need. Hugo Roy was 0.89. Tadesco had 47 in 52. Over 2 years in the EIHL he's 1.21 PPG. Both absoloutly improve us. Giants fans just upset they've slipped from a phenominal season and probably have to high an expectation.

Tedesco is an excellent EIHL player who would walk into any team in the league. The problem for Belfast fans quite understandably is that possibly the most influential player they had for many years left at the end of last season.

Scott Conway has made a couple of posts recently joking about next year. Would guess Belfast is the most obvious location, but he'd walk into any team based on his production.

Given his comments when he left I can’t see him dropping back down to this level if he doesn’t need to but if he was to return the only possible reason I can think of as to why it wouldn’t be with Belfast is to play with Brett

Posted another clip with the word orange prominant. Either way, while he is a good player is he a good person for the team?

Make him the focal point of the team and he’ll smash it out the park. Bit like when (going back a bit) collymore was at Forest, he was THE focal point of the team and thrived on that. When he moved elsewhere amongst other big names he wasn’t as prolific.
If anything, I think he’ll end up at Sheffield, like it or not they’re good at picking up (and developing) top end Brits when they become available. if they retain the majority of this seasons squad and add players like Conway to it, we’ll…could be a tough season for everyone else.
